Esschert DesignDoor Wedge Dog, Black

While this is designed LIKE a door wedge, it does NOT function like a door wedge. I bought it because it reminded me of a dog we had. She was ugly too.

I got this for my husband who likes to leave the front door open in the fall and who loves dogs. When a breeze picks up, it slams the door shut, so I thought this would be perfect. Well, I love it, but he won't use it...until the next time the door slams and scares the you know what out of him and the dogs...then he won't say a word to me, but I'll bet it will be holding the door open the next time I walk past!!!

As pictured, good value however the door I purchased it for it is too narrow to work. But still like it and will find it a door.

Love it. Heavy, but also east to move. Black paint was missing in a few small areas on the legs that fit under the door. So not bad enough to return it.

It doesn’t hold the door open. Just slips and slides right across the floor. Probably would work better on carpet, but who has carpet anymore?

Who would have thought something that looks so small, could work so well! It fit perfect under the door or next to it.

I am very happy with my purchase. I was about to spend a to on a cute door stop from Anthropology and happened upon this. Good quality and great price.

There is some missing paint on the back legs but you can't see it once this is in the door. Exactly what I wanted and super cute.

Great product but mine has just arrived today and it's all chipped, not happy

I live in an apartment block where if I have the back door open, any other window or door that opens in the property at the same time causes a 'vortex' and makes an internal door slam shut. As I have neighbours above and below this can be quite startling to them. The door wedge is quite small but it is very sturdy and stops the door slamming shut

I got this to wedge the door open but he is too small the front door rides over him, he is of a good weight and looks good just to small I use him as a figure

This would be nice on an internal door or any other door close to the ground. My patio doors have too much clearance as you can see in the picture, check the dimensions before ordering.

The advertised picture is clever, as from the front it just doesn't look like a dog. Thought my first one was mis-cast or something, so they sent a replacement. The exact same thing, looks like a dog/cat hybrid with a growth on the side of its head. Can't be bothered to send back. On the plus side, does keep my heavy door open.
