EXACTLY what I was looking for
The Backstory: Once upon a time, I found the perfect pair of sweats (they were not these). This was 6 years ago. I bought 3 pairs of them when I realized how much I liked them because I knew someday, inevitably, I'd run out. Those sweats have been unavailable on amazon for approximately 5.5 years and I have never been able to find them again. I've checked intermittently, hoping that they'd be there again because once I find something I like, I stick to them and try to just keep buying the same thing as long as the quality remains the same. About 3 months ago after multiple holes started appearing in the crotch and the legs began to fray on all of them, I knew I'd have to find another pair of pants. The Search: I started passively searching around 3 months ago. I'm a med student so I don't have an abundance of time or money, so passive searching is me looking on amazon in the middle of a long shift or as I'm falling asleep in bed avoiding my responsibilities. These actually caught my eye pretty early on because I have two sets of legging shorts with pockets from Baleaf that I really like, and I thought that maybe these would be good too, but $37 was a little much for me to just spring on right away without proving to myself that I had no other options. Some other things caught my eye, but I kept coming back to these because they checked a lot of boxes for me (reviews talked about them as comfortable, they looked like they'd be light, they had adequate (and zipping!) pockets, reviews said they were soft, they had jogger bottoms so I wouldn't have the fraying ends problem again from stepping on them, and less importantly but still relevantly they had kind of the profile I was passively looking for). I decided to get a pair just to try it out, trusting that if I hated them or even if they didn't live up to my standards, I could just return them. The Verdict: I LOVE these pants. LOVE. I think it's too soon to say whether or not I love them as much as my old sweats, but they are already way up there and set to surpass the others if they last even half as long. They are light, deceptively stretchy material, quick drying, and have more than adequate pockets. They're extremely comfortable, look great, and fit well. I really appreciated reviews with pictures and sizes when I was making my decision, so here's mine: I'm 5'8 and what I would describe as a muscular 168lbs. At this size, I bought large to be safe, and I got the 25.5" legs, but I think I could have gotten a medium too and been fine and I just might still in the future since I've lost 20lbs in the last 2.5 months and plan to lose about 5-10 more in the next month. The legs are short, but I like that for running honestly (ran 5.5 miles in them this morning they were more comfortable than my normal shorts even, and not too hot at all). I'm definitely going to buy more (and already have). I also took them hiking yesterday with my dogs and they dried extremely quickly after my Great Pyrenees and German Shepherd tromped through the river and then immediately shook themselves off on me haha. I have no real cons to them, though I'll update if they break down quickly! Til then, I'll be ordering more and wearing them literally every day I can get away with it lol.Message for Baleaf: PLEASE don't take these off the market, I don't wanna go searching again for another perfect pair of pants LOL

Comfy, great fit, and POCKETS!
These are not warm pants. They're a thin, light fabric that will be great in the warm months but when I've worn them over the winter, I've been pretty cold. They are comfy, I think they're attractive, they fit well, and they have a lot of room for stuff in the zippered pockets. That's important to me because I try to avoid bring a purse if I can. The pockets on the legs are very roomy, though it would be awkward to have bulky things on the front of your legs. They probably don't need to be that big but are great for an ID/credit card. The light in the pictures is pretty bright and makes them look them look more red than they are. They're more of a berry/maroon. I first ordered a L and exchanged for a M, which is much better. I'm 5'4" and around 145 lbs, for reference.

Great light weight pants!
I just received these and love them. Nice fabric, well made and fit nicely. I ordered a small, I am 5'4, 110 lbs and longer legs so ordered the longer length, which are perfect. Nice pockets and overall a great purchase. The fabric does have a bit of chemical smell. I am hoping that will leave after washing. These are just what I was looking for during my early morning dog walks!

Comfortable and flattering
Purchased a navy and black pair for an early spring trip to Disney World. The fabric is soft and the high waist is flattering. It has a lot of pockets so I was able to carry my phone and other miscellaneous items comfortably in the theme parks. I’ve washed them twice (and air dried) since purchasing and the colors have not faded and the fabric has remained soft and has kept its shape. They do come out wrinkled after washing but it’s not really noticeable once you’ve had them on for a bit. I’m 5’2 and the length is perfect. They are lightweight but not meant for 90+ degree weather. I was comfortable wearing these pants until the temperature hit 90F in the early afternoon. Once it got that hot, the pants felt slightly suffocating. I usually teeter between sizes medium and large and I opted to buy the medium. The medium was form fitting so if you like a roomier fit maybe size up. Overall, they were a good purchase and will probably put them into my fall and spring rotation.

Love these
These are a great lightweight alternative to yoga pants. They kind of remind me of parachute pants from back in the day due to what the material looks like, but they're a bit thicker and very soft. While they don't look like it, they have spandex in the material, so they'll stretch when needed. I don't believe they're made of the kind of material that pills up, so that shouldn't be a problem...at least I haven't seen anything like that on mine, and I wear them a lot.I love the wider waistband as it reminds me of the wide waistbands on yoga pants that hold your belly in. These do the same thing. These have functional zippered pockets and seem to be made very well. They hold up in the laundry like a champ. I wash on delicate (just in case) and hang to dry (also just in case). These come down two or three inches below my ankles, but I'm only 5'5", so keep that in mind if you're tall. The excess material folds itself down over the elastic of the ankles so they're not all bunched up. These are shorter on the model who I would hazard a guess is around 5'8" or so (but, what do I know?). The band around the ankles isn't tight at all, so they should accommodate just about anyone.I love these pants so much, I just ordered them in a different color. If you're hesitating on these pants, I'd recommend you give them a shot. I think they are extremely comfortable and very cute on.
