It Works!
I am pleased to write a review of the Snopow M9-LTE Smartphone, which was successfully activated in New Jersey, USA. I was attracted to this unique phone for its ruggedness, and the built-in UHF “walkie talkie” feature. I was on the fence for quite some time before jumping on the smart-phone band wagon, but that UHF Walkie Talkie feature got me in the game. I’m a ham radio operator and I thought I could get some utility out of a smart phone that I could also use to work the 440 Mhz repeaters in the area. The Snopow M9-LTE delivered. I programmed a couple of repeaters that were about 5 miles away and some simplex frequencies, and I had no problems hitting those repeaters. Although, I wouldn’t trade in my full-featured HTs, the phone makes for a cool novelty. I loved all the extra goodies that came with phone, including a key chain w/compass, a small screwdriver for the removable battery cover, bud-headphones, a USA charger, and a neat padded carrying case. I took the phone to my local AT&T store in South Orange, NJ on December 13, 2016 and the sales representative sold me the GoPhone sim card that I requested, and she had no problems activating the phone on the AT&T network. The rep never saw a phone like it and wanted one. The phone seems to stay in 3G mode in my area and I was able to download apps without issue. I did download the Speedtest app and got Ping: 39ms Download: 3.67 Mbps and Upload: 1.77 Mbps over the 3G network. Perhaps your mileage may vary. Anyway, I’ll tinker with the settings and travel around to see if I can get 4G, then I'll try the speed test again. So far, I'm happy with my purchase. UPDATE: The phone works on the AT&T 4G-LTE network, as the attached pictures show. Please note the 4G indicators and the speed test depicted. Please be aware that AT&T has a “whitelist” of devices that are “certified” to run on their LTE network. These are the phones they sell. Although the Snopow M9-LTE is currently not on their whitelist, the phone is certainly capable of working on 4G. You will have to change the APN settings to the “NXTGENPHONE” as described on the AT&T website, and research though Google, how to enable 4G-LTE on the AT&T network. Enjoy!

wont work with t-moble here is there response It appears that the phone is missing the 1700 band. For you to connect to our 3G/4G network, you should have both the 1700 and 2100. No worries though as you can still connect to our 2G network.
