Very easy to swallow being a capsule. This is the only one I buy.

I was taking simvastatin for my cholesterol, I really hate taking those kind of drugs,they're always seems to be side affects, I stressed this concern to my dr, so she suggested I try red yeast rice, took this pill for 2 months just two months, my numbers did drop some, which is positive, they dropped from 228 to 207.now mind you I haven't changed my diet, I still eat ice creams cakes and occasional fried foods, and still there was an improvement, now I plan on continuing on with the red yeast rice, I'll be checked again in a few months we'll see what the results will be then,.., I take 2 pills twice a day.2 in the morning and 2 at night,. So far no side effects.

Got my labs, today. Total cholesterol went from 300 in August to 183 now in February. I also lost ten pounds. I didn't ask for the breakdown but the total is down considerably. Teamed with Cholesoff, lots of vegetables, three miles of walking and weights. Cut out sugar, saturated fats and lowered my carbs below or around 50 gms a day. It was hard but it paid off and the Red Rice yeast did help.
