Great stuff for cat roundworms
Greatest thing around for cat roundworms. We adopted [and neutered] a family of feral cats last year, and we did a lot of research on the easiest and best way to deworm them. They can't be picked up and handled and have a tablet forced down their throats. In the first place, that would be put us in danger or scratches and bites, and, in the second place, we have gained their trust and we don't want to jeopardize that. We calculated the proper dosage for our now year-old cats weighing about 5 kg each. [We used 0.5 mL of this suspension per cat, but you should do your own calculations for your cats if you plan to use it that way. If in doubt, ask your veterinarian.] We add the 0.5 mL per cat to one ounce of canned catfood each, mix it thoroughly, and feed it to them. That is all there is to it. They eat it with no hesitation at all. We generally mix it the night before, refrigerate it, and then give it to them for their first meal of the day. After the first treatment, we set up a further series of three more doses [one at 2 weeks, the next 3 weeks after that one, and the third 4 weeks after the previous one] to complete the initial round. After that, we treat every 3 months. This stuff is a very good investment and the bottle holds enough for many treatments for lots of cats. You should follow your vet's advice or do your own careful research. Our schedule of treatment may not be for you. This stuff seems to be very effective and it does not harm the cats if properly used. It is safe even for humans [the label gives only human doses]; we tasted it, and it has a pleasant taste that cats do not notice at all when mixed with their canned food. Our local animal rescue people have been using this suspension for a long time.

Flavor is amazing.
Needed this for pets as well as the family. The flavor makes it easy to swallow and not a dread. Smell is sweet like cupcake batter to me. Works. Easy to use.

Multi Dog Household - Nobody has died yet
This is my 2nd time ordering. We have 8 dogs, so regular de-wormings is not the cheapest but it has to be done. We also raise puppies seasonally. All of which, have had doses of this and nobody has ever had a bad reaction to it. It seems effective in treating the worms & parasites Pyrantel is supposed to kill. Please note that different wormers kill different parasites, so just using this solely in your dogs worming regime will not suffice. However it does cover the majority. We also use SafeGuard Goat Wormer. My dogs don’t seem to mind the taste, in fact a couple of them seem to like it!

Works okay-ish but will make you feel sick for a while.
Oh man. Okay, for one, it tasted surprisingly good. Yes, I bought it for my cats, but if your cats have worms, why not take the safe route and make sure you're clear? It's like a vanilla protein shake (that slight grainy/chalky taste you might expect). One of my cats drank it fine, almost seemed to enjoy it, the other had to have it forced down their throat. One of them had a pinch of a sour stomach, but that same cat overeats and then pukes anyway, so I'm not positive.I, however, felt terrible. An hour or so after taking it, I felt nauseous, my head started to hurt, and I felt that weird kind of clammy you get when you have a mild fever. I took it before going to work, which was a very stupid idea. I had given it to my guy and my kid as well, thinking I was playing it safe. Hook worms and such can really mess a human up, and if you have a kid, you know they get into everything and shove random objects in their mouth, so... I thought I was being clever. My kid vomited twice but otherwise seemed okay. My guy did not vomit but was miserable. The effects were completely gone after about 48 hours. We humans did not do a follow up dose two weeks later, but I did for the cats. It worked okay for the cats, but must not have completely cleared them. Eventually I got some of those tapeworm (and other worm types) pills that are more pricey and it finished off the worm issue. I hear pyrantel pamoate is much gentler than poisons for cats that are a little young/sickly/elderly, but it also isn't quite as effective. Get some cheap litter and completely change their box every day, wash bedding and vacuum, blah blah, or they WILL come back. It doesn't kill them, just paralyzes them and moves them out of the system.Despite everything you read about how gentle it is on humans, I would definitely only recommend this if you don't have the option of going to the doctor and are quite confident you're infected. It seems likely to cause: mild to moderate cramping, sweating, nausea, vomiting, and headache. And YES, we were very careful with measuring our doses according to weight. DON'T take on a day you have stuff to do, take it on a day off! Also, it does take rather nice and the top isn't hard to get off, so KEEP IT AWAY FROM CHILDREN. I could totally see a kid downing the stuff without knowing better.
