KUCHE Easy Trigger Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop, Cookie Dough and Water Melon Scoop

Item arrived on time and as described. I ordered this item because it looked like one that my mother had and was still in use 40 yrs later, it is still usable but the finish is almost gone so I saw this one and decided to see how much use I can get from it.. Appears almost the same as my old scoop except it had an opening behind the trigger inside the scoop and was a colored aluminium. That being said this scoop seems to be better quality being stainless steel, the trigger is riveted in place and seems well constructed but the scoop is not a one piece contruction so not sure if it will hold up to as many years, the scoop itself appears to be welded to the handle. The scoop head is a bit smaller than my old one but not a problem.. All in all its a great scoop.. Wish my old one was here to take picture but is still in use in another home with my daughter.

This scoop is super strong, lightweight, and the edge seems to cut through the icecream. It is so easy to wash because it has fewer moving parts and it has not discolored at all in the dishwasher. The trigger works best on more solid icecream but gets a bit gummed up with softer clingy sherbert I keep breaking other icecream scoops (like a hilariously bad infomercial) but this one has held up to my Hulk-like grip. The scoop part is a little smaller than I was expecting but I don't even care because the overall quality is so good.

I think I might like this scoop a little better if were slightly larger, but it works well. I love that it's stainless. It reminds me of an aluminum scoop that I had quite a number of years ago, nostalgic. My grandson likes to scoop ice cream when he comes to visit and he did a good job with it. The edges are sharp so it scoops solidly frozen ice cream very well and the trigger pushes it out. Cleans up in the dishwasher. Easy trigger. Good name.

This product is well made and I think it will give me many years of good service. The scoop is a little smaller than the usual ice cream scoop, but to me I think this may be an advantage. I have only used it a few times so far and I like it. I will update this review after I have more experience with it if anything changes. For now this is a great product.

I purchased this item of Feb. 27th and the second time I used it, it broke. The scoop detached from the handle. It appears to be well made so it may have had a manufacturing flaw in the weld. I am very disappointed as it is the perfect size for a cookie scoop. I waited too long to use it and it is no longer returnable.

I bought this to replace an ice cream scooper made by a different company that started having the silver colored coating come off and leaving silver colored streaks in the ice cream. No thank you!! So, I bought the Kuche because it is stainless steel and looks just like the scooper my family had when I was growing up. The Kuche I received is well built and looks like it will last just as long as the one I used growing up (Note: That one is still going strong). It works great and I'm a big fan of the trigger that releases the scoop of ice cream from the scooper.

I LOVE the design and the function of this ice cream scooper. This is the best one i have ever purchased. I make my own ice cream frequently and sometimes it ends up a little harder than I anticipated when I'm trying a new recipe. This scooper makes it very easy to scoop any consistency of ice cream out.The only complaint I have is that it was originally advertised as dishwasher safe, but there are some parts of the scooper that rusted the first time i put it in the dishwasher. However, if you're tired of buying defective ice cream scoopers, I would still buy this one and just hand wash it.

I thought this was a great ice cream scooper until it broke after only a couple weeks. On soft ice cream just opened...EDIT: Changing 1 star to 2 because they are sending me a new one. Will update again if the new one works out.
