Safety Warning Hazard Floor Tape, 3 Inch x 54 Feet, Black and Yellow Stripes

Bought this tape to surround the edge of the mandated drip pan that hangs below the air handler in the garage for my new A/C system. The two inch width of the tape was perfect for this use. The adhesive of the tape is quite sticky and clings well to the metal pan. The only downside I noticed was that because the tape is quite sticky it leave a residue on the surface of the tape. Do NOT use Goof Off to remove the residue as I originally did because the black and yellow will smear across the tape. Luckily there was plenty of tape on the roll so I reapplied the taped area that I wrecked and then I used WD-40 to remove the residue. No smears with the WD-40 and the residue came right off.

I like this tape. It is very difficult to get it off the roll as it is very durable and sticky but once you do it is great. We use it to cover cords on the floor at work and it is so much easier a reminder then the YELLOW/BLACK tape but it has been on the carpet floor weeks now and still going well.

Color is bright, which is great, but adhesive is slightly lacking. Only sticks well on non-porous surfaces, like metal and steal. Try to put it on wood or concrete and it starts to come off on its own after a while. I suppose this could be said of most tapes though, so that critique might no be fair. Still, subjectively, it seems to be that this tape has an inferior adhesive quality to it than most masking tapes. Still happy with it overall, but I was using it for a superficial prop/arts and crafts purpose. It might not be suitable for serious work like construction etc.

I used it to mark off the area my shop lift lands on.

I put a few strips of this on my back steps and it has been a real life saver! It shows up in the dark and even the snow. Very strong and heavy. So glad I found it on Amazon.

Worked really well to organize our warehouse. Used it on the floor and walls. 5 stars !

The colors are vibrant, but the tape is very thin for applying to a floor.

No he tenido la oportunidad de estrenarla, sin embargo puedo decir que es bastante ancha, suficiente para cubrir cables de extensiones eléctricas de uso rudo, y los colores muy llamativos, que la intención es llamar la atención. Por lo pronto le doy 5 estrellas, usándola veremos si cambia mi opinión.
