Surprising Delightful Game!
I bought this game for a friend of ours who loves board and card games and has a gaming group who come over every month to play. We broke it out over the New Year - and it was the game we kept playing over and over! It really is a blast of a game to play! The rules are not too difficult to pick up and if the paper rules don't make sense the video training helps. The cards and concept are whimsical and fun! The only thing going is that if you have trouble adding in negative numbers, you'll want a calculator nearby for your scoring. One of our players is a teacher and she was already planning to get a copy for herself to use with her young students for math skills! Our friend really loved this game and thanked us several times for it, so it was a hit (and there were at least 2 others who said they wanted copies and I forwarded the Amazon link to!)

Fun family game time
Similar to a game we played growing up but more cars and slight twists. It is lots of fun. Easy to learn. Quality is great, it is well made and beautiful. I love the story to introduce the game. It is sweet and fun for our whole family.

Fun game, grandsons loved it
Easy, fun game. We took it to visit our grandsons (ages 7 and 9) and they loved it so much we left it with them and ordered another. It’s a lot like the card game Golf but with some more options.

For all ages!
We got this game for Christmas for my 5 yo son. He loves playing it and my 3 yo has played it daily since Christmas (it's the middle of March) Things we like: -all ages can play (the 7+ recommendation is more for point counting, as soon as your child can match numbers they could play!) -your cards are all laid out in front of you so it's easy to aid a child without compromising the rules of the game. -able to play by yourself. While less fun (in my opinion) you can just set up your board and play until you like it. This has been great for my 3 yo who loves to set up and simply play and match cards by himself. -No super clear winner or loser. If your children are very sensitive to this, it's easy to just not count points and celebrate getting all your cards flipped over and matching. -options to make it more complex as children get older! -small box with very little set-up. -Beautifully illustrated! -Fun detailing between the art in the box and on the cards. We would 100% recommend this game for 3/4 yo and up!

This is a really fun, fairly quick and simple game that can be picked up quickly. I’d highly recommend it. We don’t have children in our household so I can’t say what age it would be suitable for.

Great quality card game from a family card game designer who does quality components, easy to understand fun rules, great art and thought goes into design. Small box family card games. Really can't fault Grandpa Becks Games. Love this variation on Nines/Golf. Works brilliantly. Intuitive to grasp. I'd play with with anybody. It's cute and fun.

We own and love all of the Grandpa Becks Games! So when "Gnoming Around" recently came out we had to add it to our collection... Although this doesn't quite have the raucous game play of "Cover Your Assets" or "Skull King", it's still really fun. If you've ever played "Rat-a-Tat-Cat", "Gnoming Around" is basically a much more interesting, multi-layered version! The cards are beautifully illustrated and excellent quality. Highly recommend this and all of the Grandpa Becks games.
