Low risk, high reward option.
To be clear, this is not an OEM bulb. This is a generic product sold for a very low price. You would easily pay 10x the price for an OEM bulb, so consider that with your expectations. With that said, this product has met and exceeded expectations. I've been using for over a week now and have logged over an hour on it each day. The picture is perfect, and possibly even better than the original bulb that burst after 1400 hours. It does seem to take 5 seconds or so longer to warm up. There was a slight odor the first hour of use. But outside of that, no issues at all. I can't speak to the longevity of the bulb obviously, but again, this is a low cost, low risk option.

Not quite what I expected
The bulb is too dim for continued use so I am returning it. Rather disappointing but I guess you get what ya pay for in most cases. I know they have the one year warranty but for how dim it is right out of the box, I know I am going to be sending bulbs back and forth with them and I just do not have the time for that.

first of all this bulb does not get bright enough ...
first of all this bulb does not get bright enough to work. second. it got so hot that it burned the prism in the projector. now I have to replace a $1500 projector. do not buy this!!!!!!!!!
