Good value, ok taste, not too fresh
The taste is ok but they do not taste fresh. I probably would not buy again.

Delicious
I liked all the flavors except the taro and matcha, those were too sweet but all the other flavors were great! I really liked the black sesame and peanut butter

Flavors were...not as good as hoped - Variety Pack Review
I was expecting the peanut mochi daifuku to taste "amazing" like other reviewers had said, but it was a strange peanut flavor. Yes, it was definitely peanut butter, but there was a sickening quality to it. I'd been looking forward to that one the most, so this experience made me remember that I shouldn't expect anything to only get disappointed in the end.But the worst flavor, in my honest opinion, was the green tea mochi. I felt like vomiting after the first bite. It was disgusting with a strong, flowery, perfume-like aftertaste. I've had all kinds of green tea (even matcha) and this flavor was not good at all. The second worst one was the sesame mochi. The flavor was, again, sickening. I just couldn't handle the texture of the seeds with the gooeyness of the mochi (I wholeheartedly admit that is my problem, not the fault of the company). I couldn't taste anything of the red bean mochi. It was just gooey with almost no flavor. But the shining star for me of this mochi daifuku variety pack was the taro. That is so good! It's sweet but not overly so, and it had a unique flavor profile that made me smile. It's literally the only mochi out of this variety pack that I actually want to eat. I wish I'd known that before I wasted $30 on this purchase. And now I have a gift box to give to no one because I don't know anyone who would eat this... Well, hindsight is 20/20. I'm not buying this again.I can't say anything about the freshness since the box the pack was shipped in arrived [very] warm, but I think it was fine. I managed to get to the box pretty soon after it arrived.Final thoughts: If you've actually tried all of the mochi daifuku included in this pack beforehand and really liked each type, this would be a fantastic value for your money. I don't recommend buying this for your first dive into mochi daifuku, even if it is just to try everything to give it a fair chance. That's what I did and I totally regret it.

Disgusting
The flavors were horrendous. I brought them to work and nobody liked them. Not a single person. The texture was like a slimy uncooked batter and filling didn't taste like the description on any except the peanut one. I cannot recommend this.

Good quality Japanese daifuku
Very good machine. Really soft and tasty. The time it took to finally fulfill the order sucked though. It took almost 2 1/2 weeks for them to finally ship it. I was close to canceling the order.

Great Snack Food
Initially was just curious about how they taste and was left pleasantly surprised. The red bean was really good. They were also quite filling so I looked at the nutritional details and each unit of mochi is around 100 cals (looking at bean and green tea). So hey, if you ever want a nice snack to keep the cravings away while keeping calories low, this is for you.
