Quality cheese knives set
I have to say, that when I received there Silvero Premium Quality Cheese Knives, I was very impressed. Right off the bat you can see how well they are made. I am impressed by this set - as it is not expensive -but is obviously a well made, quality product. Each cheese knives set contains 4 cheese knives/fork. There is a sharp knife to slice hard cheese, a curved cheese spreader for softer cheese, a wide cheese spreader for crumbly cheese and a cheese serving fork. The knives themselves were secured in a store quality box, so they easily can be given as a gift if you like. The design of the knives is one smooth piece of stainless steel for the entirety of the handle and the blade. Each knife is one lightweight, solid piece. There is no knife being slid into a handle. There are no spaces for the knife to come apart from the handle or for cheese to hide when washed. The handle has a clean, modern look to it, but the handle is flat rather then round all the way around it which makes it easier to hold or grasp. These knives clean up so easily, there is no need to put them in the dishwasher if you do not want to.The knives themselves are short, at about 5.5 inches each, but an ideal size for a cheese board. Any larger and you will not have proper leverage and the dimensions will look out of place. The knives have narrow blades which are quite sharp and are effective and easy at cutting or slicing the brick or wheel of cheese that you have in front of you. For those harder to cut cheeses, try using the fork to assist. The knives even sliced our extra sharp white cheddar without turning the cheese into a pile of crumbles. I received these Silvero Premium Quality Cheese Knives for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I did not guarantee a positive review, having made it clear to the seller that I review solely based on my own experience with the product.

Perfect for everyday use, but elegant enough for special occasions
I received this set as a free review sample. Before I describe this set if you look at the product photos the one that shows the box and knives (utensils, actually) is the order in which I will describe each. All of them are about 5.5 inches long. The widest one is a flat cheese knife that is designed to cut crumbly cheeses. I personally like this for gorgonzola and other blues where I can use the chisel-like end to both cut pieces of those cheeses, and then to chop or crumble it.The blade measures about 1 7/8 inches across.Next is an interesting knife in that it's more of a combination chisel with the edge across the top or the blade, and a spreader. It's like a narrow plane style knife without the edge running the length of the blade. Like the flat knife you can use this to crumble cheeses, but I use it for brie and other softer or double creamed cheeses to both cut a manageable piece and spread it on a baguette.Probably the most versatile knife in the set is the 'almond' knife that is perfect for cutting through pecorino-romano, Parmigiano-Reggiano and similar cheeses. I use the latter as a table cheese so this knife is the most useful. Finally, there is a cheese fork that is useful for holding down soft and semi-soft cheeses while you cut them. I stab it into the middle of a brie or camenbert wheel and use the almond knife to cut off pieces. The construction is interesting. I cannot find any seams so each piece may be forged (or cleverly stamped), with handles that allow you to get a surprisingly effective grip for such a smooth surface. The handles are hollow, and the blades and tines on the fork are part of the same one-piece construction, and are strong. I have some some sets with flimsy blades - this is NOT one of those. This is for everyday use, but if you have a few sets it's also great for entertaining. Mine has replaced a set with wood handles, which were not dishwasher safe. This is.

This set looks so elegant, next to the cheese platters.
Wow what a wonderful cheese knife set. We play a lot of cards with company, and cheese and meat trays, are usually a big part of that entertainment. We love to try different types of cheeses. All different, textures, and smells, taste, ect. This set from Silvero Premium Quality is as nice looking as it is useful. The set includes 4 different cheese tools, and is packaged and displayed very well, could be a great gift, for someone. The cheese tools are all made of stainless steel, and have a brushed finish to them. They wash up super easy, just a little soap and water, and no scrubbing. There is a cheese knife for harder cheeses, 2 spreaders, one for soft, and one for crumbly cheeses, and a fork for serving. They are each about 5 1/2 inches long, and have nice wide handles. Each tool weighs between 1.6 ounces, and 2.4 ounces. When I first opened the box, and saw them, I thought they looked like they were very heavy, and they are not they feel great in your hands, not to big and bulky. The only problem I am having with this set is deciding whether to keep it for yourself, or to put in in my daughter's Christmas present, we got her some wine bottle items, and this would make a great addition to her gift. May just have to break down and order another set.lol I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for a fair and unbiased opinion.
