Quality product and bought by self. Would buy again!
This is another great light by a great company. They have been around 10+ years in the renewables field and have been steadily improving.Steve is a great guy and has this outfit out of Denver colorado. It is a handful of hardworking innovators trying to make the world better one idea at a time.Anyways, let's talk about the light...When received, I had noticed it was a lot like their previous lights. Compact and easy to use.The very first generation had a rounded design, mechanical slide switch and removeable nimh battery.Second Gen had a non removable nimh battery , digital switch and a new compact design. This being the third gen, it has a lithium ion phosphate battery, digital switch and new compact design. The best part of all the generations is the use of SUNPOWER Solar panels that are the best available to consumers. You are getting a solid and robust design. Then again, the cause is to have the light last with the least amount of coin.If I were to improve this...1 - Make it have a glow in the dark button or mix the newest green plastic with a little v10 glow powder. This would be a home run.2 - Have the auto off-on function re-enabled as this was the best part of the first lights. This has to be an issue with the new digital switch and firmware.3 - A magnetic built into the plastic head. Nice mini carabiner or bendable wire to make this mountable everywhere.I never hesitate to buy their products and they will answer the phone of any issues, quality products and their cause is uplifting. It's now easier to order over amazon but I recommend that you give them a call and they will help you with whatever. A lot of flaky products out their that push advertisement and this one speaks for itself again.Thank you nokero!

A little disappointed
Cool little product. But I am a bit confused in that the light does not turn off when daylight comes. I am not sure if being on all the time reduces the power it can store for nighttime use. Also, the on/off button is rather difficult to use. It takes determination to operate.

Study light in Uganda!
This sturdy little light will be making it's way to Uganda to provide illumination for a little girl and her family. There is no electricity in her home and very little available light for homework. It was recommended that solar lighting was a welcome addition to any gifts or supplies I might consider sending her. Since I will be helping to support this young lady as she studies and grows, I am happy to send this ... and more lights in the future. I had already purchased 2 of these, so I know that they are a very decent light for the money.

Small and light enough for backpaking, but a little small for home use.
This works OK. I thought that it would be much bigger than it really is. Looking at the pictures, you would think that this a 10 to 112 inches tall. In reality it is not much bigger than a light bulb. It would be good for backpacking or for use in a small tent. It will go into my "hurricane readiness" supplies because of the fact that it is solar. At least it would be some light if the power goes out. It does have a clip that will allow you to hang it on something and the clip is situated in a place that would allow you to hang it from a backpack in a way that would allow charging it while hiking.

An all-around great light at a great price!
This is an awesome solar light! I purchased one for myself and bought a second one for my daughter to use up in her bunk where she likes to make forts. She had a little lantern that took three AA batteries and that was extremely expensive every week! This thing can be bright for reading or turned down a little bit for a calm white light. Lasts for hours and hours, can hang or be used as a stand light. The top pivots probably 270° from one side all the way to the other. An all-around great light at a great price!

Great!
I received these solar lanterns (I purchased two units) just yesterday and decided to test them out overnight. I charged them both in direct sunlight from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (7 hours of charge time). I turned them on at 10:00 PM and left them on the "low" setting until 6:00 AM (8 hours) this morning. Very pleased with its performance so far. The low setting provides a decent amount of light. The high setting is quite bright. We are planning an upcoming camping trip so I can't wait to use these bad boys! Great purchase! Highly recommend.

I like this.
I like this...the only thing I was frustrated about was that it's alot smaller than it appears in the picture. Nokero makes some much larger solar lights that cost $20. This is one of the smaller lights with a small base to stand it up in...Definitely should not be priced at $20 for this. More like $10. But the light is good...just small.
