Great idea, great product
This roasting stick is really slick, you can do up to 6 hotdogs at a time. You get even cooking as you can turn the stick to make sure all sides get evenly cooked. You don't have to hold the stick, so your not burning your hands or getting smoke in your eyes. We mounted it in a 4x6 piece of wood so we are ready for winter grilling by the fire also. All of my camping friends are getting this for Christmas. Great idea, great product.

Thankful for the Roastin' Pal!
Just returned from a camping trip with my family. The Roastin' Pal was a hit! My family members wanted to know where to get their own. It was a hot week so we were thankful we didn't have to hold our traditional roasting sticks over the fire. We used this for both hot dogs and marshmallows. It works great!

Misleading.
When purchasing merchandise from Amazon, states in the description, Will be receiving a marshmallow stick and a hot dog stick as shown in the picture. Only received one item.

It was a hit at the camp fire
This is a well made and unique item. Following the included instructions it was simple to assemble. It did a nice job with hot dogs on the campfire at our neighbor's Independence day BBQ and received a lot of comments before being commandeered by the kids who used it to roast marshmallows. After running it through the dishwasher we put wine corks on the sharp tines which I highly recommend doing.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I will revisit and update this review in the future if appropriate.

Give it a try
Cool idea, neat construction. Love the bracket to stand up in the ground and be hands free cooking of hot dogs and marshmallows. Nice and compact when collapsed. Packs easily
