Extremely Bright, But some tips
This is an extremely bright flashlight. That being said, it is understandable that it gets extremely hot after a couple minutes. If you need to use it for an extended amount of time, use it on the second dimmest setting if possible to reduce heat creation.Only use it on the brightest setting, maybe 5 minutes to 10 minutes maximum and then turn it off to let it cool down.Once the flashlight is extremely hot, the metal is very fragile inside. Do not drop it or bang it. Put it down for a few minutes to let it cool down.If you follow these tips, this flashlight will last you the lifetime of either the bulb or how well you take care of it without dropping it.This also consumes a lot of battery, so I ended up getting myself four rechargeable lithium AA batteries that way I'm able to have constant brightness without gradual dimming with nickel cadmium or alkaline as well as saving money in the long run with disposable batteries. If you need a bright light and can follow these above tips, this is a great light bulb for you at a ridiculously cheap price.

Nice for the price
Work great. Very bright. We had a bunch of AA batteries so we wanted this to use them in.Good for the price - bought 2 but going to buy a few more to have around.

Excellent Product
I bought one flashlight and then bought (3) others to put in different rooms and floors after I experienced the quality, operation and effect of the flashlight - they have the capability of lighting up an entire room.

Some SHARP edges
This is a good flashlight: beam brightness, weight, size, quality; it uses 4 standard commercial AA batteries- no recharging necessary. I can use it when power is out.A problem is the very sharp edges on parts of the casting which are not smoothed off. I like the anodized black finish a lot. I smoothed off all the sharp edges myself. In the 3 photos, all the shiny silver-color edges are where I polished off the black finish removing the sharp edges. All edges on the flashlight aren’t that sharp. There is significant risk cutting oneself on those very sharp edges, shown in the 1st photo, around the sliding portion of the flashlight. Other sharp edges are pictured in photos 2 and 3 on the back end of the flashlight and on both ends of the Rechoo flat recess on the side of the flashlight. Those other edges could cause cuts, but not as easily as when pushing on the sliding collar controlling the beam diameter.Smooth off those sharp edges during manufacture and this flashlight would rate 5 stars!

Super bright compact flashlight!
Super bright. Bought it for my bedside to use when middle of the night meds have to be taken. The lower light setting is even super bright so not complaining but it is too bright for what I need so I'm putting this in my car for emergency use. It will replace the light that's in my car now and I'll bring the one from my car inside to use. It will be perfect for the car, camping etc. Seriously this flashlight is brighter then my maglite.

This is a great flashlight. Sturdy with a really strong and adjustable beam.
After a bad year with dying flashlights we tried several rechargeable models and were not happy. Went old school (battery) and tried this flashlight and it's a win. It is very solid and the beam is stronger than any we previously bought. We love that you can adjust the diameter of the beam as we use it to let the dog out at night and can view the whole yard. Great Price and Great Buy.

Very bright. Bigger than I expected. Size of light can be adjusted to suit your need.

Failed When I Needed it Most - LA Fires
I had purchased 2 Rechoo flashlights back in September 2024 as a means to prep for emergencies. When I tried the flashlights initially, they worked great. The body felt solid and the light was bright. I had been burned buying flashlights on Amazon prior and felt that perhaps this time, I had made a good purchase. When I used them again in December, I noticed that the lights would flicker and then go off unless I shook the flashlight, almost as if a connection loose. The next time I tried to use it was just last week at the start of the Los Angeles fires, when I needed it most to see in the dark while trying to evacuate from the house due to an oncoming wildfire. No problem - I have my handy flashlights I bought just for emergencies like these. WRONG! This time the flashlights wouldn't even turn on! I tried swapping it out with fresh batteries thinking that perhaps the batteries were dead. Nothing. I had to resort to using my cell phone flashlight to spray down the house with water and evacuate my family from the house in complete darkness.I would return my flashlights, but the return window has closed. These flashlights were purchased for emergency use, hardly used, and when I needed their light the most, they failed me. And it potentially jeopardized my family's safety as a result. The level of anger and frustration I felt in that moment at these piece of junk flashlights is not safe to express here. I had purchased these flashlights based on generally positive reviews, but I must warn you NOT to purchase these flashlights because they may fail you when your life really depends on it.
