Great cat tower condo
I just got this two days ago and it came in very sturdy box within another sturdy box. It was delivered to my porch and I brought it upstars to my second floor rental in pieces as can't lift the 70 lbs.I am very pleased and my cats have taken to it. One cat is 10 lbs and the other 13 lbs. I bought is so the lighter cat could have a perch to get up from the heavier cat who is a little bit of a bully. No funny odd smells came out of the box or the condo.I would have given 5 stars if the holes were all drilled correctly. The "ladder to nowhere" I think is part of the support and rather than leave it off I determined to try to attach it even though only one screw and hole lined up. One screw hole is right at the edge of the cubby and the other screw hole ended up underneath the cubby. Had I know that before I put it all together I could have drilled a different hole that worked. One screw is not enough to make the ladder stable. There is nothing to secure the ladder to the bottom - only two separate screws to each top part. I had to take some short nails and toenail in about 4 small nails to secure the one side. Also the directions are visual and it really took some spacial thinking to get the thing right. Some of the fabric obscures the drilled holes and I stabbed myself trying to open up one of them and left a bit of blood on the wood to show for the effort :).For the price, size and overall I think it's a good deal. I have a smaller condo by a different manufacturer and I like this brand better.

I expected it to be a bit more sturdy. It's about an inch taller than I am ...
As heavy as this is, I expected it to be a bit more sturdy. It's about an inch taller than I am (at 6'5") and when I first put it together it was rock solid. As about a month went by my three cats seem to have wobbled it apart a little. They're still comfortable enough climbing up it and jumping around (and fighting for territory) but it has me a little concerned as it's next to my TV. The ladder just seems to be in their way when they try to jump up, and the hole in the 2nd level only seems to be there for my entertainment as they occasionally slip through it onto the perch below. The lighter color probably wasn't a good idea but I'm not knocking any points for that. I have a white cat, a maine coon and a black cat.Only reason I gave it three stars is for the stability. If another 6 months goes by and it doesn't get any worse I'll bump it up to four stars, but I have a feeling I'll be purchasing another TV soon and regretting not pulling it apart and trying to reinforce it.

Sturdy and tall
We have two medium-sized adult female cats who enjoy seeing things from up high. I chose this tree because of its height and stability after comparing base sizes of other trees offered. I really like that it has a solid, square base, which means it's not likely to tip over. For the price, you really can't beat this tree.It was very easy to assemble, but the box is incredibly heavy and the whole thing is hard to move once you put it all together. The only downside is the "faux fur" material that covers the little house and the platforms. I really wish it were carpeting rather than plush, because it would be nice to have additional scratching surfaces. I will be interested to see how the faux-fur covering holds up to scratching over time.

We have two four year old cats - I had a smaller flimsy cat tower that they liked to lay on (I had it in the corner between two floor to ceiling windows so they could look out to the woods and bird feeders - they are strictly indoor cats). I moved that one to the bedroom and replaced it with this - and they LOVE it! It was quite easy to assemble (even for the "tool-handicapped") and easy to slide into place once it was complete (heaven knows you won't be able to lift it!). I didn't put the ladder on - the cats don't need it and I frankly couldn't figure out how it would fit there - looks to me that it would just get in the way. My cats are Siamese - very athletic - they can jump from the floor to the "house" level with no trouble. I blends in well - the carpet is about the same color as my walls - and since it's in my dining room, it's a lot classier looking than the old one!

Cats love this, once they warmed up to it
This was totally easy to put together (despite what the reviews said) and was also easy for me to get into the house (also despite one review). The cats had to warm up to it, but once that happened (after about 5-7 days) they love it - it took a little while longer for the first one to reach the top and hang out, but now it is pretty common to find one or both on it. I blinged mine out with some added items from the craft store - feathers, rawhide and cotton cords, bells, etc. that I staplegunned to the under sides. I have been on the hunt for a sturdy hammock that I may add in the future.

Had to place it against a corner of the room because it's too tall and the support on the bottom might not hold it up. My cats are pretty active and can knock it over if both were to play rough on it. It comes out looking just like the picture. Smells a little funky as expected.

GoPetClub cat tower
I love this tower, I know cats who would love this tower, I have friends who love this tower however my cat TD (for That Darned) views it with contempt. Having said that I have come home to find him contentedly sleeping in the box part. I am happy to give it house room, the price was excellent and even "some assembly required" was easy as they included the tools. Would highly recommend it to any cat owner and if this one ends up at the Oregon Humane Society I know it will be covered with cats. You figure it out ! fondly Jenny.

Flawed stair design
Kind of disappointed... The design is flawed. The stairs are tucked in too far so my cats end up jumping from the story with the house onto the floor. That's far roo high for constant use. I worry that as they get older, that kind of pressure on their bones can't be good. Haven't decided if I'll return it or if my husband wants to try and alter it himself.

Cat tree review
Our two 16-pound cats really enjoy this cat tree. One concern was that the ladder was broken when it arrived although the box was not broken (so it wasn’t the shipping that was the problem) so we had to fix it. In the photos, the smaller cat tree on the side is our older one. We put the top platform of our old tree on the new one because it was too tall for our house, so the cats didn’t go up. But the description did tell up how tall the tree was, so that’s not a complaint, we just readjusted to fit our home. (We also put the top platform on top of our old tree, although the platforms are a bit small for our cats (but that’s probably because they’re pretty big) so they don’t really go up. The arrival was on time, and it came while no one was home so they left it at our door which was convenient. It’s not as stable as we thought it would be, but it’s not bad considering how heavy our cats are, actually pretty good, and I would expect any cat tree to be similar. Our cats don’t use the platform at the very bottom or the ladder, and I think they’re there for the looks and stability, or our cats just like to jump instead of climb. The assembly is on the easy side. We’re happy that now our two cats can stare outside together, instead of trying to sit in one platform together! They fit well in the cave although they are large kitties, which is great!

The condo can accommodate large cats
I purchased this in 2014, it is 2019 at the time of this review. I have a fairly big cat: large frame and slightly overweight. He weighs 17 lbs and he can comfortably fit in the condo unit. The individual perches were much too small for him hence why I removed them and opted to lead the support as a scratching post. The structure itself is fairly study, it of course moves a little when my cat jumps on it but it has not been a problem. I occasionally tighten the structure to minimize the movement, otherwise I think it is fine given the height of the tower. The nice feature about removing the perch from the top of the condo is cat will sometimes sleep on top of the condo instead of in the condo. This worked well when I was in a household with two cats, one slept on top and one was in the condo.Overall, I was happy when I initially purchased this tower and I still happy with the product today.

Easy to put together and will last
This gigantic cat house is actually built very well. I've had mine for over a year and it's still holding up great except for the spots of faux fur where he scratched it to death. Still not wobbly and still is his favorite place to sleep.

My cats love this thing!
My cats love this. They are always fighting for the top spot. Ive had it for a year or so now and no issues with it. It handles my fatter cat no problem on the top. It may be a bit wobbly when she gets on it but it has never fallen over. I have it up against a wall as well.

poorly packaged
oddly shaped structure and the top platforms are small. Housing compartment was smashed in from shipment as its just hollow particle board against the cardboard box it was shipped in with no foam or protection. easy to assemble.
