just wish the 802.11 mode for the 5G Band was a N not a G2.4G Band is a Nlittle big for a small usb port hangs out too far

When I bought this, the adapter gave me a 5% better signal than my internal wifi adapter, but after a day, the 5GHz channel failed to connect, and the 2.4Ghz channel was about 50% weaker than my included wifi! Back to the store it goes! Really disappointed. It's probably defective, but I think next time I'll stick to TP Link products, and probably get something with a external antenna.
