I am a professional dog groomer and I also own a Great Pyrenees. This line of brushes is awesome. They get the job done without tugging excessively on coat. No brush burn or uncomfortable dog. This brush is a good choice for doubke coated breeds/doodles or Standard poodles. The purple side is great as a for a first brush thru and to help detangle. It doesn't get a whole lot of undercoat out tho. That's where the silver side comes in. Once the top/outer coat is brushed thru and free of tangles, the silver side does a great job of grabbing undercoat (or in the case of doodles/poos and spoos) getting thru and separating the curls enabling you to brush to the skin softly) Its expensive. It took me a long time to break down and purchase these brushes but I'm so glad I did. I have the full line and don't use anything else.

I have an Australian Shepherd and have many brushes but none have worked as well as this one! This breed requires a lot of brushing and this brush make the chore quicker. I was very hesitant due to the price but I feel it’s worth the price due to the hair removal.

This is the best brush for getting out tufting or mats. I’m a mobile dog groomer. This particular purchase is actually for one of my customers who has a border collie. Their hind ends can get pretty tangled ActiVet line are the best brushes you can get in my opinion.

I love it it's so amazing works well on my husky's long fur. She has a sensitive area on her leg that's been always hard to brush her there so the leg is kinda matted this brush is so gentle and did the job.

I absolutely LOVE this brush! I can not say enough about it! It really cuts my effort by more than 1/2 and I have five heavily coated Aussies! It is worth the money.
