Optima Digital 1200 12V Performance Battery Charger and Maintainer - 150-33508

This charger is working well. I like the digital readout and options available like AGM, deep cycle, maintain, etc. You do have to “select” what you are trying to do but it’s a single button push in most cases. Being able to ask it the state of the battery is useful. I have a 40 year old charger that still works but bought this for a new location, I’m glad I did. I may get another and put my old one on the shelf as an emergency backup, that’s how much I like it.

This is an excellent charger! Works great on my yellow top, my secondary standard battery, my mower, and soon I bet it'll see the Harley battery. I'm charging all of them with this now. Real simple to use. Connect the battery, plug it into the wall and push a button or two. It tells you the battery life after a 5 mins evaluation, then starts charging and tells you what amp and voltage it is at.I'm super impressed. I bought this to have a nice charger around, and the guys at Optima charged a battery for me at a car show years ago with this same charger. Gave it back to me in just over an hour and said I was good to go, and that battery got me through the rest of the show!

I got one of these because my neighbor let me borrow his.One of my cars had the battery completely die on it. The battery was about 5 years old so it is what I would consider near the end of it's life AND i don't drive the car a lot. I pulled the battery out and put it on this charger. It took ~12 hours for it to fully charge and go to maintenance mode. The battery has worked like an absolute champ ever since.The cost of this is slightly prohibitive/steep. But compared to the $40 ones you find at the part store... it does a lot more and performs WAY better. So it certainly lives up to the price.

This is what you need to maintain your Optima batteries and keep them going for years to come! I recharge mine about every 10 months and it’s been working great for years! Highly recommend this for anyone who wants to bring an Optima back to life or just maintain yours. For Optima batteries mainly but will charge any battery I think? This thing is easy to use and has worked great for 3 years for me. I love it

This Optima 1200 Charger worked perfectly when charging a new, small, AGM battery that I had to fill with acid from a container that came with the new battery, and, it also reconditioned a 6 year old lead acid battery in a car.Although this is a "spendy" charger, it works so well that I must say it is a good value for the money.The "Operators Manual" is well written and needs to be read "thoroughly" in order to correctly set up the charger for the "type" of battery being charged. There is a short learning curve when switching from a 1960-70 charger to this Smart Charger. I will recommend this charger/maintainer to all who ask.

So it still fires up and charges the battery.

Highly recommend vehicle battery charger as it is very versatile for charging agm led acid and lithium batteries. It's got a very wide range of usable selections as needed.

I had to buy a second one due my gf accidently running over the first one. But the charger works as advertised and recovered my old sears die hard when my other charger would not. it got me 2 more years of the battery and the battery has been winched on and I have a ARB fridge. I recommend this charger. it I did not want the charger faster, I would have ordered directly from Optima with a new batter to get an year of warranty on the battery.
