Great luggage!
My sister recommended this luggage after traveling overseas with it, and being impressed with its durability. I've used it on one trip so far and I'm pleased to say it held up nicely - still looks very good after a cross-country trip. It holds a lot, looks great, and is light weight and easy to maneuver. Great price, also. Very pleased, can highly recommend!

Great luggage, well made and durable.
Replaced my existing large Suitecase after an extended trip that did not survive the airports. Decided to try this suitcase and have waited yo post a review. The quality and durability of this is proving to be superior. Since I purchased this several months ago it’s survived 1 ocean cruise, 2 trips to Europe, and 2 domestic trips. That’s about 14 airport/transfer adventures send this case came thru with flying colors. It large enough for extended trips (longest was 32 days). The hard shell has a few minor scuffs but it basically looks like new. I’ll be buying a carry on size next.

Delsey luggage is great - this is a perfect size to sneakily carry on!
I'll say off the bat that I far prefer to travel with a backpack; why give up 7, 8, or 9 pounds in luggage weight allowance for a spinner when you can just strap 2 pounds of fabric to your back instead? Well, I'm getting older and creakier and I have a back condition so the backpacking days of my youth are pretty well behind me. At the same time, I prefer to go carry-on only no matter the trip duration, and I unfortunately mortally wounded our last Delsey spinner during a spring trip (we limped it along with one broken wheel for weeks: no fun. But let that be a lesson to me: don't sit your butt down ON the case while waiting at the airport unless you're willing to risk snapping a wheel!) I was trying to find exactly the right size replacement -- probably technically an inch too big in some dimension or other to be totally permissible to carry on the plane, yet unobtrusive enough looking that it'd likely slide by the critical eyes of all but the most crabby gate agents. This fits that bill exactly! It is also expandable if you're going to be traveling back with goodies from your trip. It banged around European cobblestones for 6 weeks and while it's not as shiny as before, is as sturdy as the day it arrived. Not excessively heavy for a spinner, rolls really smoothly (as long as you're not on cobblestone, of course!). For what it's worth: Blue is my favorite color and this one is a nice pretty, deep hue.

Great suitcase!
Love Delsey suitcases. The one concern I have with this one after using it for a trip this past two weeks is that the surface is shiny and I instantly had scratches from checking it on the plane and even the sticker that was put on by the Airlines to help track, my suitcase, left a sticky mark when we pulled it off. I would prefer a rougher surface in the future. The other concern is that I wish the section that zips close had double zippers from each side that meet in the middle, since this one only has one zipper that goes from one end all the way to the other end. Makes it harder to pack and close than when there are two zippers that meet in the middle. Great suitcase, even expands and locks.

Great Suitcase
I have several of these bags in different size or for other family members. Have used the carryon size to travel all over the world multiple times, dragged across cobbles, carpet, stairs, running to the train, in the rain, etc. I pack it super full at expanded zipper size and then usually force that zipper closed. Have carried bottles of wine, shells, all kinds of stuff and no breakage. At least 10 international trips with dozens of shorter flights and train rides. It is a little scuffed up now and I have some tears on the interior zippers which is not surprise considering how hard I push them. Always want to be one of those people with a Rimowa or other cool bag but just can't see why I would switch, this bag has been amazing, very durable, rolls very well, is light, fits a ton of stuff, looks fine and is reasonably priced. Usually fine in the overhead except on smaller planes.

Broke within minutes
I bought this suitcase to replace an aging, similar-sized one . I loaded it to 40 pounds - well below the airline’s 50-pound limit for checked bags. As I left the house on my way to the airport the collapsible handle pulled out of the suitcase. All I could do was put the handle inside the suitcase so it would not fall out and be lost in transit. Luckily, I didn’t have to struggle with my now-handle less suitcase for any great distance before checking it or after retrieving it from baggage claim. After I arrived at my destination, Panama City, Panama, and unpacked the suitcase I discovered a zipper in the fabric lining of the suitcase. After unzipping the lining I was able to guide the lower ends of the collapsible handle into two plastic cups at the bottom of the suitcase. This, in turn, allowed me to snap the plastic collar of the handle into the top of the suitcase. I was then able to pull the suitcase about three feet before it fell apart again. I can’t return the suitcase to Amazon because I will not be returning to the U.S. until after the 30-day return window has closed and shipping it to the U.S. would cost more than I paid for the suitcase. I certainly wish that I had not replaced my 20-year-old suitcase, which still worked fine, with this defective one.

Three weeks with Four suitcases in Five European airports worked GREAT!
We bought these before our big family Europe trip. We bought four of them, one for each family member. They went through London, Barcelona, Rome, Copenhagen and Amsterdam airports without a single problem! The suitcases did great. No problem with wheels or zippers. In fact, one of the reasons we picked this suitcase was because the zipper was heavy duty. We got some scratches, but that is to be expected. Have you seen the way those guys throw these things onto the plane? We bought them along with the BlueCostco Heavy Duty Cross Luggage straps. We felt the straps were extra coverage in case a zipper broke or anything cracked. But the suitcase held up fine. We still liked the straps. They helped prevent someone going through our suitcases and made them really easy to spot. The suitcase is relatively light (which is great when you know you'll need that weight allowance for more shoes :-). The wheels move really smoothly, even over streets and cobble stones. The handle never sticks. I love that it locks in the halfway position, making it easier to push through an airport. Best of all, the suitcases NEVER tipped over. That drove me mad on our last trip. We had cloth suitcases, and with the front pockets filled, it made the suitcases front heavy. I was always apologizing to someone because my suitcase had tipped over onto them. These hardcover suitcases are really well balanced and never tip. Another advantage to the hardcover suitcase that I read about is that they deter bedbugs. That's always a plus! We also purchased the Amazon packing cubes. They worked AWESOME! A friend was impressed that we had managed to pack 3 weeks worth of clothes in a 25 inch suitcase. And we were visiting both warm and cold countries ... so we had to pack a LOT of clothes. But the suitcase can really accommodate a lot. I even packed my pillow! Love these suitcases!

Great line of luggage, we travel nonstop and they have heald up great!
We have had this suitcase for about 3 months, my partner and I travel a lot for work and pleasure so I did some extensive research on the pros and cons of hard luggage vs soft and the different types of wheels etc. This Aero Delsey line was always one of the top rated and made just about every travel blog luggage rating list I saw. We bought a whole set, the 29", 25" and 2 of the smallest ones the 19" that has the outside pocket and can fit in a overhead bin. I would recommend getting the 3rd party warranty as it covers about anything and is well worth it if you do travel a lot like we do. All of the sizes that we purchased fit inside one another which is great for storage. You do have to get use to how to pack and open the hard luggage if you have never used them before. Don't want all of you stuff pouring out in be hotel. Couple of things I would say to think about if you are looking for new luggage. The wheels are so important, these spinners are great make sure that no matter which luggage you end up buying make sure the wheels are double-sided spinners so it's little 2 little wheels on each one (like on office chairs) some of the cheaper, and even more expensive brands have single wheels and they will wear down faster and break more easily. Also one thing to note, when you have these hard shell suitcases and you get to a hotel or where ever you are traveling to, if you are the type of person that likes to setup a luggage stand and just live out of your suitcase sitting on it, these may not be the best option for you. Since items are stored evenly on each side you have to open the suit case fully like a book to really access everything and to pack and unpack it, just something to consider. In the 3 months we have had these we have traveled 2 times internationally and probably 4-5 times domestically like NYC area to FL and NC, checking these hard shell suitcases does get some scratches on them but overall they have really held up well. The side handles, retractable handle and the wheels have all remained sturdy and we have not had any issues. The lock works great on the side and the inside zipper compartment and straps all work great. You can really fit a lot into these suitcases and the best part about this model is that is gives a little unlike some hard shells so you can fit that extra few things in, it also has the zipper expander but we have not needed to expand it any. The luggage looks great and very stylish, have taken it right into meetings with me and even had some complements. Feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions I have included a few photos to show have they have worn as most people probably travel less in a year then we do in a few months.
