Surprised me
I originally assumed the Pilates ring was for women, but after using one during physical therapy I realized it's just as helpful for men. I purchased the Hypeletics Pilates Ring mainly because of the $5 discount because it had no reviews but also because I bought one of their Dip Belts a while ago and it's also amazing. Wasn't expecting much but man was I surprised! If you've ever used one before, you know they're not all the same. This one is much sturdier and provides more resistance than the one I used at therapy. Rubber and handles seems to be pretty good quality too. I'll update later if it's not. It's also bigger which allows me to do more exercises. I use it mainly for core exercises but you can get a full body workout with it.

Small, portable, and powerful!
I bought this little Pilates ring for my wife, and I have ended up using as much or probably even more. It's small and lightweight and can be tucked away almost anywhere. It's well built, with both comfortable grips, and a nice padded cover around the fiberglass ring. It's a simple thing but super nice. Included with the ring was a card with some example workouts that can be done with the ring.I ended up using the ring for chest and shoulders. Sure, if I wanted to I could probably snap the ring, but that's not the idea. If used properly it is great for a rehabilitation tool, or for high rep sculpting exercises. I store it in a high traffic area for me and pick it up for a quick 30 reps every time I walk past it. It could just as easily be kept in an office. It's great to get the blood pumping and can be used as the sole exercise, or as a great warm up before hitting the weights for heavy lifts.

Not very comfortable
So it kind of makes a “creaking” sound like I’m really afraid it’s going to break when I use it. But it HAS NOT broken just to be clear. It hurts to use and it bruised my thighs pretty bad bc of the thin area that touches the thighs. I’m only 135lbs and I wear a size 3-4 in jeans, so it’s not because I’m too big and definitely not because I’m too strong because I’ve just started my toning up journey. If I would’ve been able to try it out first, I honestly probably wouldn’t have bought it. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I’d rather be honest. =(

Quick to receive, but didn’t hold up!
I love the ring and that the rubber has a little bit of color, turquoise. Last night, however, when I was ysing it during my pilates class and we were bridging with it between our thighs, there was a loud crack. I am not sure if this one was defective, but I will be in touch with the seller. As far as ordering and receiving the ring, it was a quick and easy process.

Great Resistance Tool
The pilates ring is perfect for stretching and strengthening. I have been using it for some time in my weight class. It works great to strengthen the abductors and stretch the hamstrings. We use it to press together with the hands during crunches. Great resistance tool and highly recommended.

Works well for men
I ordered this product because I felt it would serve dual purposes: Ab work and also to use almost like a band for bridges. It works well for both. It's about to get cold where I live so I wanted something that I could use at home that wasn't too bulky. I tried it right after I received it and my stomach muscles are sore so it definitely did the trick. It also comes with with a pictogram showing some different exercises for the product. Overall, worth the money.
