Easy way to route wire and cable through difficult situations in walls and attics.
The 35 foot Jameson Glow Rod Combo 7-8-IK Installer Kit is an Excellent product for routing cable through attics and walls. I used this to route CAT-5 Ethernet and HDMI cable in my attic and walls. The product uses flexible fiberglass rods that glow in the dark - making is easy to spot where the rods emerge from walls and spaces. Two different rod diameters are included. They all screw together to reach 35 feet. These rods push easily through insulation and flex to bend around corners. The kit comes with hooks and adapters for pulling wires and cable. I looked everywhere and Amazon has the best selection, shipping and price on this product. The manufacturer also has many other kit options. Numerous Jameson Glow Rod Combo kits can be found on Amazon such as the 35 foot 7-8-IK Installer Kit; 30 foot 7S-65K Deluxe Kit; and the 34 foot 7-8VK Versa Kit. Just search Amazon for "Jameson Glow Rod".

Excellent quality glow rods. Thicker and thinner rods are both time savers.
I never imagined this tool to be such a huge time saver. I used this rod kit to run cat 5 cable above ceiling drops, through walls, and through conduit. The quality of the rods are top notch. The thicker rods work well to push wire above ceiling drops because the thicker rods are stiff enough to keep running the wire in the direction you want to go. The thinner rods are excellent for running wires through the wall or where you need something that's flexible.Overall, these glow rods are well worth the time saved from trying to run wire. Highly recommended.

Perfect tool for the job.
This kit was perfect, I was running HDMI cabling. Being able to adjust different lengths and using the flexible and stiff cabling helped me get the job done. Having cables that glowed was a big help.

Quality Electrician’s Tool
I’ve had a chance to use these On the job. Like the 1/4 inch for it’s rigidity pulling cables above the ceiling grid. The 3/16 inch has worked well fishing in the walls. So far, no fiberglass splinters. Smooth finish. The threaded connections seem more heavy duty.

Fair price for what you get.
I use these for fishing wires and cables in finished walls and ceilings. They work great and are somewhat less expensive then the Greenlee or Klein brands when I was shopping for them.

Rods are well made and made in the good old U
Rods are well made and made in the good old U.S.A.. They glow in dark areas so you can see them. Easy to use. Good kit with everything you need. Packaged in a tube to keep every thing together. Delivered to wrong address but neighbor on next block with same house number delivered it to me. Hey, everyone goofs up now and then! Makes things interesting:) Thank you!
