Perfect baby shower gift

We were doing 'bring a book instead of a card' for daughter's baby shower, nursery theme is elephants so I was looking for Little Golden Book "The Saggy Baggy Elephant." I had read these books to my daughter over and over when she was little so I thought it appropriate. I was going to purchase this single book but noticed further down the page that for just a little more (the set was on sale 50% off) I could get a set which included the book I wanted. Of course, I purchased it! The books are exactly as described and what you would expect from Little Golden Books. They arrived on time, packaged in a cardboard sleeve, and in perfect condition. I'm happy with this purchase.

I bought this set as a Christmas present for my niece's three little girls; no child should grow up without Little Golden Books! These stories are some of my favorite book memories: I was read to as a small child, and then read them to myself as I got older. (My brother used to tell me rather impatiently that I would be able to read faster if I read SILENTLY--ha!) I read them to my children, and am eagerly waiting for a grandchild one day so I can read them to him/her. Little Golden Books are wonderful, creative, sweet stories that capture a child's imagination and often teach gentle lessons. To this day, "The Poky Little Puppy" and "Tootle" are favorites of mine and my three grown children! Stash the computer and iPad regularly and READ these to your kids!

Illustrations are all classic style and pretty to look at and imagine. Young kids will love you reading these stories out loud to them as they sit beside you looking at the pictures and talking about what they see.

I received the item quickly. The books were in great condition. Seller communicated quickly with me prior to shipping to make sure I understood exactly what I was getting. Very happy, and would buy from again.

I was looking for nostalgic titles to read for my grandchildren and these were perfect.

The box container for the set had a small part torn off and bent up some. The books look fine. I ordered new and according to the email received for rating, the order was used. Giving as a gift so would have liked the book box for the set to look nicer.

My daughter loves them. The lion book is kind of weird but she still likes it lol. Some of the golden book reviews say they cover is too stiff or does not bend but that’s not true. You just have to hold the spine flat and open hard one time, then it will make a bend and open/close normally. The books are so cute and look nice together on bookshelf
