Kate Greenaway's Mother Goose Hardcover – January 1, 2006

A long collection of nursery rhymes that your mother never told you. This book is a compilation of rhymes that can be shared with any child, at any age. I have read them to all three grandchildren, and a few at their school Everyone has enjoyed the rhymes. They are also a good way to teach reading as the wording is simple and easily read by beginners.

I liked this book. It was perfectly fine. I'm sure your wondering why I rated it three stars. Well, the truth is it's incredibly short. It took me five minutes in fact it's taking me longer to write this review than it did when I read it. Pity, the people who wrote this. They left out a few things like the second verses of a few ryhmes. At least I got the book for free.

The book full of nursery rhymes was great! The translation from paper to digital not so good though! Over all I give it a passable 3.

I bought this when my friend had a baby. There are a few typos but otherwise, it's convenient to have on my kindle and have to hold a baby too. It has all the classics!

Same as above, needs more pictures for the age of my granddaughter, she is at the picture age. As she grows I hope she will show more interest.

Nice little book, but a lot slimmer than I imagined! Also some of the rhymes are abbreviated, no second or subsequent verses, which is not what I remember from childhood!

Not very long and no pics but I enjoyed reading these with my 5 year old. We are now off to look up the history behind some of the rhymes!

Loved the old mother goose nursery rhymes, it brought me back to my childhood, now I can pass these rhymes on to my own children

REALLY LOVELY NEW EDITION OF DRAWINGS BY THE TALENTED KATE GREENAWAY ILLUSTRATING TRADITIONAL NURSERY RHYMES.NICE TO READ TO A CHILD AS I'M NOT SURE CHILDREN GET TO KNOW THE OLD RHYMES THAT MY GENERATION KNOW SO WELL.WELL WORTH BUYING FOR YOURSELF TOO AND FOR ANY FANS OF GREENAWAY.

Lovely little book, purchased with grand-daughter in mind, she will love this when a little older!!!!( currently she is 16 months old, so just a little young, but loves books already.

Die Wörter sind großteils mit falschen Buchstaben bzw. Zeichen und dadurch unleserlich und unverständlich dargestellt! Die Wiedergabe der ab fotografierten Originalbilder ist schlecht. Insgesamt den Preis nicht wert! Ich habe das Werk sofort zurückgegeben.
