I did a lot of work before selecting a new smart lock to replace what the developer put into 1,000 houses here. Mine went bad the moment I moved in. Most of the rest of the community still have no idea how to use them or connect them to one system. Everything the developer choose was based upon cost, not use. Thermostat, garage door opene, locks, doorbell cameras, none work together.This one is great! Easy to install. Easy to setup in its own app. Automatic synchronisation with Alexa. Finger prints are super easy to set up. Fobs too.I went down to Lowes to have duplicate keys made. They had a sign up saying they now make fobs too. However, they had no blank keys to cut for this type of lock. And their dib machine could not read my fob. That tells me the depth of the security for this lock. Very Impressive! No one else will be able to make duplicates either! Something about bank level encryption being used. Super!This lock also tells me when it is locked or when it is unlocked. That is very comforting to know as I walk out the door.The app is perhaps the easiest app I have ever used for "Smart Stuff". Some require a Doctorate in Computer Science and Programming to use. It has been a while since I had to write code for something. I really do not want to do that anymore if I can avoid it.I added a reinforced deadbolt striker that extends three inches into the door frame. Between it and this lock, someone is going to have a very difficult time breaking in.The most important thing is the voice control. There are days when my pain is just too much to get out of bed. With this lock, and Alexa, I can control the lock on my front door. I can see who is at my door through Blink. Now I can let them in when I need help. For me, that is priceless. My family knows this too and they also have voice control and Alexa control from Hawaii if they need it. That is the purpose of all of this high tech. Peace of mind.It works every time!Great App, easy to use and understand.Easy installation.Simple setup for Voice, Finger print, and Fob.Integrates seamlessly with Alexa.A double locking mechanism included.Good looking too!Small footprint.Great instructions.Everything you need (except tools) are in the box. I brought 3 of these locks and they are very easy to install and operate really well. One of them though failed after about 3 months. Winter from the after sale support did excellent job looking into the problem and I had new one sent a few days after providing video & photo of how the failure occurred. Very good product, a good price/performance choice.

Interesting that my prior comments/review have been removed. I will repeat what I said previously.... I was very excited to receive this lock due to the many features provided. Unfortunately there were a few short comings of this lock.First the hardware was not difficult to install other than the mounting screws to install the external lock through the door to the faceplate were too short. I am not sure if it was a simply a defect of shipping, but all mounting screws were the same size. The product description does specify a door width of 1.89 inches. Was not able to get the screws included in the kit to meet with the mounting plate through the door. Not a big deal but required that I go to local hardware store to purchase 2xM4-40mm screws to mount through the door. The other 2 internal mounting screws were just fine.I ordered the package that included the gateway and extra fobs with the deadbolt. It was very easy to pair the lock, fobs and gateway with the application. Had no issues unlocking the door via thumb print, key code, or via the application. Unfortunately though, was unable to lock the door using the external keypad by pressing the # key for 2 seconds. I could successfully lock it via the app, from the inside, autolock, but other than using the app externally or using the physical key to lock from the outside, it would not work. This somewhat renders the lock useless if providing a key code to other users of this lock. Additionally, the physical lock is very easy to "rake"/pick from the outside. Easier than a simple padlock, so I would not classify this as a secure deadbolt. I contacted the customer service number included in the box multiple times, but was not successful getting through or receiving a return phone call. I wrote my initial review and was eventually contacted via email, but it appears my original review was removed. The message I received is that SMONET offered to refund my purchase or send me their new upgraded lock to address the issues. I opted to have them send me the new unit and I will update my review based on the new unit I receive.Update:I do not recommend communicating with this seller via amazon messages, ultimately they requested my personal email, phone number and physical mailing address to send a replacement. I declined and ultimately just returned it directly through Amazon. They have been spamming me with the same message regarding my review asking if I was satisfied with the replacement (which they never sent since I did not provide this personal information to them). I received 8 of the same messages within 5 minutes this evening after calling Amazon about this seller and my return.

First of all, let me say that costumer service was incredible and very easy to work with. The door lock has a lot of features and the fingerprint sensor works flawlessly. I also enjoyed taking advantage of a lot of great features , such as auto lock, finger print reader, multiple codes to get in, easy to use app etc.After 6 weeks the door lock started glitching until it stopped working. I contacted costumer service and apparently it wasn't a faulty unit , but if water gets inside it damages the motherboard which is exactly what happened. They sent me a replacement and I put duct tape to cover up the key hole and the USB charging port to prevent water from getting in. Hopefully this will prevent the lock from breaking again since this is being used in my backdoor and it is exposed to rain, wind, etc.

The media could not be loaded.  This Smonet lock works really well, works smooth for fingerprint sensing and mulitple users can be added easily.Best for keyless entries and Smonet auto lock is best.I had the problem initially in setting up the lock, but Winter helped me with patience and was best in giving tips.

I purchased 4 of these locks as Christmas gifts for my family. The intention was to find something dependable with an easy to manage app that allowed for customization for multiple users. It has now been 4 months since they were installed and my family is so happy with their locks.The fact that you can use a key, a finger print, enter a code, use your phones Bluetooth, the ic fobs or even your watch; makes this a very versatile lock with current technology and customizations.Today I had to visit my daughters and made it to her house before her. She was able to send me a temporary code from the app so that I would be able to get in, that was impressive and so convenient. This feature is also useful if you have trades or guests coming that only require temporary access with an expiry time/date that you can set or revoke at any time. Convenience and security have all been well thought out for a lock that costs considerably less than other brands on the market.It was necessary to contact their support line recently because the unit I purchased for my father was having problems. I found it most helpful to contact them through their WhatsApp because of the time difference. They did some troubleshooting with me and determined that the unit should simply be replaced. Within 10 hours there was a delivery at my dad’s door with a replacement unit. To say we were shocked at how fast they resolved our issue is an understatement. They went above and beyond to back up their warranty and were fantastic to deal with.So knowing that the features aligned perfectly with our expectations and the support exceeded even some of the bigger names I’ve used in the past; I will continue to support this brand going forward.Thank you Helen for your continued follow up and consideration!

So far so good. I live in Northern Ontario where we are currently in our false spring. The fingerprint is very touchy so make sure that you put your finger on there exactly how you programmed it or else it won’t work the first couple times. Auto lock feature is great. I seriously do love how you can control basically all of the settings on your phone. Works very well with my Amazon Alexa and Google Home. I do love how it tells you out loud if you have it programmed to do so that it is unlocked or locked. I also have a ring doorbell so it’s nice to know when someone is there and I can unlock the door for them from my phone wherever I am if needed. Installation was a breeze but I use to work with a locksmith so this was nothing new for me. It’s a great little lock I must say. I’ve only ran into maybe five instances where the touchpad was a little delayed for my liking but that was just more of me being in a rush in those moments. Great if you have kids. It keeps a log of who comes in the house at what times if they used a code or their fingerprint or their key card. You can have your own profiles with fingerprint, code or keycard attached. It’s some pretty nifty tech !

I purchased this lock because of the Fingerprint feature. Works great programmed several fingers of each hand so depending on what I was carrying didn't have to be in one hand only. Programmed, easily, the IC cards as well. This second lock is for my garage as I needed to see how the first one worked. App is simple to use and works well. The key is a backup which I haven't had to use.
