As someone used to cream-based moisturizers only, this oil-based moisturizer was something I've never seen before. I used it ever day for a week in place of my normal morning moisturizer and my conclusion is that it does moisturize and has a pleasant essential oil-type smell (but which as a personal preference I've concluded is not really for me after a week of smelling it on my skin), but that all-in-all, I still prefer a cream based moisturizer rather than an oil based one.I have attached a photo to show that it really is an oil that you are putting on your skin. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. However, all day I still felt like my skin was oily, and since I did not do anything different in my daily routine except replace this with my normal moisturizer, I attribute that oily feeling to this moisturizer.The packaging of this product is high quality and it comes in a thick black box. The bottle itself is frosted glass and is breakable. It feels luxurious. However, one suggestion for the manufacturer is that the ingredients list needs to be expanded. It just says "essential oils" but doesn't specify which ones or what percentage or the quality of it, etc. I can imagine that people really into essential oils will not be satisfied with the ingredients list as it is currently.I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.
