I ordered two 4x6ft mat. 3/8 thickness. 1st one delivered is thinner than 3/8. And neither are cut properly to fit. I had to cut to make it square

Perfect for my home basement gym!

First of all: No it doesn't smell as bad as they say. Yes, it smells like rubber. It was made up of recycled tires... What do you expect? When I received mine it sat on my porch for a day. Then I brought it into the house and left it in the package for a week. Yeah I never got around to opening it. Then, I unpacked it and let it sit at my front door entrance to flatten for a couple days. It now only smells if you put your face close to it and sniff. How often will you be doing that? Not much I hope.I am using this to replace my carpet in my small Daihatsu Rocky (Think Suzuki Samurai and Suzuki Sidekick/Geo Tracker). I have already cut it almost to fit the back. This took 5 passes per cut and it is literally almost impossible to see where you cut before so you end up cutting over and over. It is VERY tough but VERY resilient. Think: This will last you your lifetime. It will never wear out. Your car will die before it does.Finally, yes this is expensive, but if it lasts forever as it seems it will, I will be happy with the purchase. Also, I will update my review when I install it in the vehicle and see if it stinks too much.

The rubber appears to be well engineered and heavy duty (3/8in). However, the cut is atrocious. If you plan to purchase one, you’ll be ok. Unlike myself, I purchased 4 to butt up against each other and noticed, regardless of orientation, they wouldn’t align. I placed a t-square and realized every single mat is cut wrong. I rather pay more for better QC. Then have to spend the time cutting theses down and losing mat space.

I have been working out in the garage recently and I was worried about dropping (or even gently putting down) weights on the cement directly. I bought a 4x7(or 8 I’m not sure), just enough to surround my bench and wide enough for a straight bar i have.So far, it has worked well in my opinion. I feel more comfortable dropping weights and not having to worrying about cracking either my floors or weights. While it isn’t visually thick, it seems to be pretty strong and be able to take the hit. Actually, I’d be more concerned about the weights before i worry about the cement.Also, these seemed to be a good value compared to other current option on Amazon.

Very sturdy

It takes a week or two to get the smell and curl out of the mat, otherwise its great. I got this instead of a horse stall mat for my home gym because it could be delivered and stall mats have a much stronger smell

This thing is heavy duty af. I do heavy deads on this and it's just great. Protects the concrete floor under and I have zero worry that I'll damage anything as long as it lands on this mat.

We did a lot of research when we were looking to purchase a mat for our elliptical that would provide support and stability without ruining our carpet. We settled on this product and are very happy with it. It did release a bit of an odor for a few days but we were expecting that. It's a great balance of weight and texture and so far has not damaged our carpet at all. We're very happy with it so far!

I bought this for my office as a stand up mat. Very good quality, but it has a strong rubbery smell that makes it unfit for this application....
