Book good. Test questions bad
The book is fantastic, however the test bank that the publisher provides is complete garbage. I found a number of questions with the wrong answer. If you want to pass this test. Don't refer to the sample questions.

Well-Written Text but Somewhat Boring; Terrible Questions
I've been using this book alongside of Stephane Maarek's Udemy Course and Jon Bonso's Udemy Exam Prep. I am glad I purchased this book, but it is certainly not enough on its own, and I probably could have lived without it by just using the other two resources.First, the primary text itself is very well-written: in that I only noticed a couple of typos in the 300+ pages of content, the grammar is on point, and the text flows nicely. Although the text is very dense, it can be easily understood from an English language standpoint.Despite the well-written aspect of the text, it's quite dry and difficult to maintain focus on. I did not do the hands-on exercises (mostly because I was reading the text away from my computer), but they likely would have helped a bit. Perhaps the authors could have used some case studies to help the reader understand the nuanced application of many of the services. Instead of feeling like all of these services are well-connected, I often felt like I was learning about hundreds of services and capabilities in a vacuum. My biggest frustration was with the knowledge checks. They did not seem to be designed for helping to pass the test; instead, they seemed designed to focus on random trivia about the various services. They were also often written in a confusing or intentionally tricky way, where the accuracy of the answer would actually depend on either semantics in the stem itself, or on information not provided in the stem. There were numerous questions which require the reader to choose multiple correct answers, but this is not always addressed in the stem. You may encounter 3 question stems that explicitly say "Choose Two", but then encounter another one which does not, yet you're required to choose 2 or more answers. Nearly 25% of the questions I got wrong could be attributed to poorly crafted stems. Additionally, the feedback for the correct/incorrect answers was insufficient and confusing. There were a handful of tricky questions; as a contrived example: "You need to encrypt an existing NFS system"...but then the correct answer is "Create a new one", with the explanation: "You can't encrypt an existing one." From a learner's perspective, this is not helpful, and at times I felt myself getting dumber by retaking the book's exams.Summary: Good content that needs better discussion of service integration for complex use cases. The exam items need to be completely redone. The book is worth buying for $25, but you should also buy a video-based course as well as practice exam sets if you are serious about passing the exam.

Cleared the exam
I like the book, the content is good with a few minor errors due to revision of content over time to match the latest versions of AWS. Still 95% of the content is relevant.I read the given book 3 times and still refer this a study guide to clear my concepts. Also watched acloudguru course video 3 times.Took Neil Davis practice tests on Udemy.Reason for 4 star: Though the content of the book is good, practice tests are not relevant to the exam. Book can clarify 85% of the concepts but it will not help clear the exam. I can say the same for acloudguru course. In my opinion doing all three Book, acloudguru course, Neil Davis questions helped me clear the exam with 800 score.

Good book but pricing for Canada is strange
The book is good, I just do not think that is fair to price it for Canada three times higher than for US

Out of date at time of purchase
I didn't realise but the exam has moved to C03 so buy that instead. In my opinion this should not be on sale any longer as the exam it relates to no longer exists.

Won't prepare you for the exam
This book won't get your prepared for SAA-CO2 exam - it barely scratches the surface of the exam content. Moreover, I found multiple mistakes (logical, wrong pictures, tables etc.) in the book.It is a not-bad overview of basic AWS offering, but make no mistake - you will not pass the exam if you rely only on the book, I estimate 50% of the exam topics were not even mentioned in the book.Better spend half of this money and get an online training instead. Too bad - I really liked Ben's videos, but the book (especially considering the price) simply doesn't do its job.
