They work better than if you were just taking plain acidolphilus. I've tried a lot of probiotics and this is one of only two kinds that have worked for me. And since these are half the price of the others, I'll be sticking with this kind.Update September 18, 2014After further use of this brand and the PB-8 brand, I think PB-8 actually works better and I prefer those strains.
