Bright but reasonably soft light
Gives off a good amount of light.Has a great reflector that spreads the beam over a wide area.Pricey but is is an LED so should (all being well) last a long time

A question of warmth
This LED bulb is extremely bright, and since it uses less than a quarter of the current of the old bulb, the saving of energy cannot be questioned. It's described though as emitting a warm white colour, but I find it much 'cooler' than other warm white bulbs in my house. As the light is situated in the utility room, it's not so serious a concern, but if a bulb claiming this colour-description were situated in a living room, etc., I'd return it.

Product was as good as described, this was fitted as soon as received so unable to say how long it will last.much better light than the original and being led will be more efficient.
