540 Brushless Motor 1/10 3650 5900KV 3.175mm Shaft Waterproof Brushless Motor for 1:10 Scale RC On-Road Car

Worked great of the the box on 2s. No heat whatsoever after a good 30 mins of high speed bashing on and off the road. Can’t wait til run it on 3s!

High KV motor with smooth acceleration and little to no cogging from start up if used with a larger amp rated ESC as recomended by the manufacter. 80amp - 120 amp esc recomended Anything smaller will have difficulty at start up so follow recomended ESC/motor combo to get the best most dependable use from this motor. Low cost Quality manufacturing Easy install just plug and play Runs cool especially with a heat sink or motor fan. Highly recomended at this price for a dependable, fast replacement for a stock motor. Would suggest for 2wd use only not enough low end torque for a 4x4 without decreased performance and possible overheating.

This little motor is a pure beast! For the size & price! Very Fast! On 2s totally made me smile on 2s But 3s is next level power and speed I would absolutely recommend this product! After 2 3s runs motor was just warm to the touch.. just awesome 😎

For only being a 540 it isn't bad at all. I have it on a Hobbywing max8 esc and never more than a 3s LiPo. It's running a Sakure D4 drifter and does it beautifully, fast and smooth.. Would have been 5* but I broke the connection to B motor wire. I did it yes, but it was too easy. Very nice motor for a drift car, anything bigger would wear it out fast.

I’m hoping this One was a dud, Amazon is sending me a new one, I will update the review when that one arrives. But for the meantime, The one I have right now will get so hot with no load on it in about five seconds you can’t hold onto it. It is literally a safety hazard. I bet if you were to hold the throttle for 30 seconds it would probably be on fire. This is running off of a 2s Lipo battery And a 60 amp ESC. Edit: after further research, I found that a brushless motor will get very hot under no load due to the fact that it is over revving the motor. Once I put the motor into my rc car, it rips! I have hade 0 overheating issues with it and it has tons of power! I would highly recommend!

We received the motor very quickly and were excited to install it into our Traxxas Slash 2WD VXL. Unfortunately, we did not realize that the Plug type: 4mm golden banana plugs do not fit the wire ends ( female ends ) on the Traxxas 3355R Velineon VXL-3s Brushless Power System that comes with the truck. Is there a simple solution ? some type of adaptors ? I hope there is.....so that we can test the motor and be another happy costumer with a positive review, with a high overall rating.

Would give 0 if I could it melted and overheated on the first run it the first couple minutes using a 60 amp esc. Would not recommend.
