Print quality is poor and content not much better
The quality of the book itself was poor and it didn’t include much insight that isn’t found for free on the web. Those of us who are new to collecting RMK’s could use some more insight into dating the knives. I had been hoping to find that info in this book along with more detailed history of the makers. It was definitely not worth the price I paid for it.

Terrible reprint
Paper page quality is very poor.

Assembled by a child out of poor quality materials
This book appears to have been made in someone's basement. The paper is what you might find in your printer at home. The pictures are all black and white photocopies. The glue binding has found its way onto many of the pages making them impossible to open without damaging them. If you have either of Dr. Hunt ' s books on Randall Made Knives you will be sorely disappointed with the quality of this publication by comparison. I would probably skip this one if you are looking for more than research material, especially for the price.

Photos Are Not Well Identified
The photos are sometimes before and sometimes after their text and are not always labeled. This book is for the Randall historian.

Superb book
This book by Robert Hunt is superb. An excellent reference piece in full colour. Not a great deal of writing, just enough about each knife. But it is an excellent book to browse through.Some of the reviews refer to poor quality black and white pictures. I suspect this is referring to the paperback that is a much cheaper reprint. Buy the hardback and you will get full colour images and a good quality book that will not disappoint.

Robert Hunt's Randall Knives, Rare, Unique & Experimental.
I am a Randall Collector and I have purchased all three Books by Mr. Robert Hunt, and have found all to be excellent. The volume 'Randall Knives, Rare, Unigue & Experimental' although printed in black and white is very usful to the avid collector.
