I use Young Living oils and I really like them but they can be very expensive. This oil smells very much like one that I have tried from Young Living that I really like. I have used this focus blend topically and I have also diffused it. I think it works well both topically and diffused. It has a very calming and focusing affect and seems to center me. I can't really explain it but I notice that it does change my mood for the better when I wear it and in the evenings when I diffuse it at home the kids comment that they like the smell.My only complaint is that I had a hard time getting the oil to come out of the bottle. I did later read that it is a thick oil and therefore is more difficult to dispense but when I initially used it in the diffuser I had a very hard time getting it to come out. It would have been nice to know that up front, but I am happy with the purchase.I received this product at a discount in return for an honest review.

I was diagnosed with ADD when I was about 15 years old. I know that nothing is a magic cure for focusing, but I've learned there a lot of steps you can take, and things you can implement to set yourself up for better concentration, focus and success. I was excited to try this Essential Oil, because I'm always happy to have an additional tool in my anti-ADD arsenal, but also because I've had success with Essential Oils helping stomach issues in the past, so I was very optimistic.I tried heating this essential oil in an oil warmer, and I also tried drinking it in water. I prefer when things don't have to be drank, as the taste is not always yummy, but I wanted to try both because it would give the oil a real chance to show me what it can do :)Unfortunately, other than making my water taste different and my house smell nice, I didn't see any positive effects from it as far as focusing goes. I did really like the smell when it warmed in the oil warmer, but that was the only benefit I got from the oil.I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

I have been experimenting with using essential oils for a few months now. So I was expecting this to smell pleasant and be helpful like I have found most of my other oils to be. That is/was the case. First I opened it and had much difficulty getting any oil out of the bottle. I turned it upside down, put it on its side, held it at 45 degrees, shook it, none of that worked. I had to take a toothpick and get some off the end of the toothpick or what a while to get it to drip in the top section and then grab it from there. I have never had this issue with any other bottle that was made in the same way. So once I got some I put it behind my ears and within minutes I had a headache. I used it in my diffuser and while it was not as bad, I am not a fan of the smell nor did I notice it helped me focus. I was not impressed. I do believe it is the ylang-ylang that has the off smell to me, so a warning if you don't like that smell, you probably won't like this. I received this product in return for an honest review

I received the oil in a very short time. I attempted to get some out of the bottle to try it topically but was unable to get any to come out. I tried turning it upside down, shaking it, and nothing worked. I emailed the seller and within minutes received this reply “Once you screw off the cap, you simply need to hold the bottle upside down, but not vertically, it needs to be at a slight angle in order for it to disperse. The Focus oil tends to be one of our thickest blends, so it comes out a bit slow - as long as you don't hold the bottle straight upside down and instead at an angle, it should come out.” I think “slow” is an understatement! You almost have to force it out with a toothpick. Once I finally got a drop out, I tried it behind my ears. I was not impressed with the scent, I didn’t like it at all. Plus I started getting a headache and feeling nauseous. It may be the Ylang Ylang, I’m not sure. I will try putting it in a diffuser as soon as I can purchase one. If the scent isn’t as strong that way, it may be helpful but I don’t think it will be. I received this product in return for an honest review.
