Nice little mic for video blogging. I use this with my N5x to record video of Arduino projects I work on, the mic does a good job of recording audio especially when compared to the stock mic on the phone. It's not going to be a good condenser mic for higher quality audio, but for the price point it serves my purposes well. I wish Amazon would allow half stars, because while not quite a 5 star product, it feels higher than a 4.

I WAS NOT GIVEN THIS UNIT LIKE ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS - I HAD TO PAY FOR IT.but that is ok. This label mic worked great. I have purchased a couple of these ranging from $10-$30, but this one is the best. No scratchy sounds, audio quality is great, cord length is long to be useful, but not in the way.If this company want to give me a few, I could use some spares, but it is worth paying for!

This is pretty bad. When it decides to work, it's slightly above the quality of the iphone mic. But most of the time, when I plug it in it just makes Siri come on and then it blocks the mic so the mic doesn't work at all. OR, if it does actually work, you have to be completely still or it crackles like crazy. This is the second type of these lav mics I've tried and both were garbage. I wish someone would make one that actually works!

Please Help, I wanted this both to work together. My lapel mic and earphone are 3.5 TRRS. Plugging in the lapel mic alone works but I can't hear the sound coming from my mobile device. I was hoping that the adapter work but it's not. Did I get the wrong connector/adapter?. Because I can't hear how the sound quality of the mini mic it I gave it a 4 star until I get both to work and hear the full sound quality of it.

This product arrived on time and works fine. The sound quality is good when recording into an iPad. I was hoping it would work with my son's wireless gaming headset, and unfortunately it does not. It is the correct size, but not the same fitting. That is the only reason I rated it four stars instead of five. I will use the mic occasionally for recordings, however.

great little lav mike- the sound is decent with no static. It comes with a handy little drawstring pouch. And as other reviewers stated, remember to unplug it for playback. ;)

Could not tell if the microphone was any better than the built-in microphone. Wished I returned it, but I missed the deadline.

Made the mistake of thinking the mic didn't work at first.As a techo-illiterate I didn't seem to realize that when plugged into a phone's audio jack the device has to be DISCONNECTED from the jack in order to hear the sound when played back.
