This is a solid, metal constructed safe for handguns and other small valuables. It has heft, but not too much. The 3-digit combination was easy to set up. Securing your handguns from children, distressed adults and thieves is both wise and now legally required in some states, like Michigan. Children are naturally curious, and they should not kill or be killed due to this. Teens are famously moody. This is also better for STORING handguns than plush padded transportation cases, which hold humidity against the gun, which is BAD for rust formation. NEVER store your guns in cases that "hug" the gun. Instead, let AIR surround the gun. For this safe, it may be best to remove 1 or both layers of foam to allow that air circulation.

Not the most impressive case. I with enough for e you can probably bust it open with a hammer. But it's good enough for traveling where local new jersey law says firearms need to be locked up. Also this is good for small ccw style pistols. This fits my Glock 43x, but not my Glock 17 with light and red dot. 🤷‍♂️

arrived in about two days and i think its very sturdy. the lock was incredibly easy to set (but the switch can be a little tough to move from a to b to set your code. its got a nice weight, nice foam, and the lock didnt fall apart like so many others have reviewed; it seems well built. easy to use, great to keep in your car or home. ive got a little concealed carry ruger 6 shooter and i would be able to fit two of those guns in there and two magazines (snugly but still). its a nice strongbox!

I want to preface this with a disclaimer: if you want peak security, maybe spend more than $20. I have 4 of them, and each has worked just fine. Included cable comes in handy to lockup in car if you want. Depending on your gun sizes, you can fit two guns inside and a magazine or speed loader strip, but definitely at least 1 gun and a mag. Just be sure to turn the knob to locked and tug to double check before thinking it's locked. Just because it's closed, it doesn't automatically lock...And Resetting combination is as easy as pressing over a tab, setting your new combo, and returning tab to it's original position. Overall, they do their job!
