Reduces pressure to my drip tubing irrigation
I had issues with the PVC line feeding this system and with several valves and all the pressure reducers. I opted to remove the old system and salvage what I could for future repairs (in a pinch) and went with an Orbit Orbit 57183 3-Port Manifold Irrigation System (ASIN B001H1GWMG). Each of the three 1-inch ports has the following setup:(1) Orbit 57193 1-Inch Manifold Female Swivel Adapters (ASIN B004GGLARG)(2) Spears or Dura 1" NPT Male x 3/4" NPT Female bushing fitting (ASIN B008FMJRFY)(3) Dig C53 0.5-inch Universal Coupling with 3/4” Male Pipe Threads(4) Rain Bird CPF075 In-Line Automatic Sprinkler Valve with Flow Control, 3/4" Threaded x Female (ASIN B00004RACT)(5) Rain Bird PRF07530S Drip Irrigation In-Line 30 psi Pressure Regulating Y Filter, 3/4" Male Pipe Thread (ASIN B006JZ51MC)(6) A nut and a drip line barb from one end of the Dig C53 0.5-inch Universal CouplingTeflon tape was used on all but the last connection to the tubing I used 7.5-inch x 7.5-inch x 1.25-inch pavers to make a base in a 4-square pattern and smaller pavers on the top adjacent to the 3-port manifold and old bull-nose bricks on the side as a base for the cover. When tightening the nut with the barb and the drip line, I removed the filter to make it easier to tighten the nut, then replaced the filter and the cover. I like this model much better than the Senninger model which has no removable filter and uses a compression connection which makes it hard to insert drip tubing and very difficult to remove drip tubing.

Perfect fit
Hardest part is digging up the surrounding dirt to get to the valve system. Once exposed it was a 10 minute job.

Good price, works well
It was very easy to install and there were no leaks.

Easy to install but not adjustable
These are pretty easy to install (make sure you read the flow direction. However they are not adjustable. It only outputs at 30psi. This was too much for my 1/2 in line.

Leaks!
Bought 3 and they all leak when I install them using a timer. Can’t find a fitting that doesn’t leak when hooking it up to the female timer connection.

Great for driplines. Just remember you'll still need a pressure regulator.
The filter itself works as described. I prefer this over the bigger Digg brand filters locally available at Orange and Blue simply due to size; much easier to fit into a valve box for underground drip systems. My inner filter cartridge doesn't have an o-ring like other mini brands, but that doesn't seem to directly affect performance.Just keep in mind this is not the PRF model version which has a built in Pressure Regulator. I wasn't careful when ordering and mistook this one for the PRF model. They look virtually identical.Overall great product. Just make sure its what you need.
