Very good keyboard tray
I held off on purchasing this for a few months. Based on the negative reviews, I wasn't sure whether this was worth the high price. I still feel it's a bit expensive, but overall I'm very happy with the purchase. From what I can tell so far, all the negative reviews are unfounded. Packaging, materials. and build quality are very good. The keyboard tray is solid and stable. I love that the tray is one piece. The large size is great, it easily accommodates my large keyboard w/keypad and mouse. Sliding the tray in and out is smooth and provides the right amount of resistance. The clamps include sufficient protection for the top and bottom surface of my desk. Many reviews talk about the screws being too small or coming loose. My advice is to ignore those reviews. The supplied screws are more than sufficient. Just make sure you use the right screws in the right place and there won't be a problem. The screws have a little blue loctite already on them, but if you have some more lying around, adding a little extra isn't necessary, but it might be helpful. That being said, I would wait until you have determined exactly what height you're going to set the tray at (what bracket screw holes your going to use) before adding any more so you screw in one time and maximize the loctite affect. A few reviews complain that the assembly is difficult. Folks, it doesn't get any easier than this, lol, a five year old could figure this out. The parts have a little weight to them, but assembly is super simple. My advice is to just go slow, watch the video instructions available here on the product page, and follow the included paper instructions carefully. Before you purchase, look carefully at the keyboard tray measurements on this product page (they are accurate) to make sure this will work with your desk. So yeah, overall I'm satisfied with the purchase. Again, I think it's a bit on the pricey side, but the quality is there.

Think 2X and screw once
I read the reviews, and I want to address a few things. The installation actually took a lot longer for me, because I had to think, imagine, and plan how I want to set it up. (More on this later.) Once you get the Left and Rights parts right, the actual installation was not hard. Some mentioned the screws being short. True. But it's short to offer a flush appearance on both sides. Do I wish they are longer? Yes. When you do screw it in, IMO, you only have "one chance." I noticed there was a tiny bit of blue material in the threads. It's like dry threadlocker (Loctite). If you have to unscrew it, to adjust it, then the threadlocker is now "broken." I think that is the reason why some of the screws will loosen with time. How do I know this? I had to take it apart to adjust the height. As I was removing the screws, that's where I saw the blue threadlocker. I did add my own Loctite to those screws, so I hope they will hold. Another thing is to add some grease to the ball bearing. I think some reviewers say they need two hands to slide it out eventually. With some grease, the tray will slide in and out much easier. Overall, 5 stars. The most important thing is the Tray is one piece. I can't imagine it being two pieces join together. IMO, that is an important part between this one and other keyboard trays that are a bit cheaper.

Great tray for the price!
This has been an excellent keyboard tray. I have had a few different ones, but this one is by far my favorite. It was very easy to install, and it feels very sturdy. I also like that it is not screwed into the desk at all. It feels much sturdier than other trays I have used, but it isn't perfect. After about a year of use, I have noticed the screws on one side getting a little loose. That causes the tray to wobble ever so slightly. Even with that wobble, it still feels very sturdy. I'm sure it will only take a quick turn with a screwdriver, and it will be good as new... I just haven't taken the time to do it. Even so... I highly recommend this keyboard tray. I'm probably going to buy another one for my second desk and replace the tray there.

Super adjustable and easy to install. Fits my ergo keyboard and trackball!
I'm a big fan of this keyboard tray, mostly because it worked for my situation perfectly. I have an ergo keyboard (kinesys freestyle pro) and a big trackball (kensington slimblade) that require a good bit of height above the tray, so not all the trays I looked at would have worked for me. I love that it clamps on without having to drill or screw anything into my cheap ikea desk. I also love that it feels sturdy and slides flawlessly. It's large and functional and I even think it looks nice. The tray itself is surely some kind of particle board, but it is solid and not a plastic. I think the only thing you might balk at is that it's a bit thick and forces me to lower my chair pretty far down. This is adjustable and is not a problem for me. I hesitated at the price for a while, but I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Works well with glass top desks
Really good, heavy duty keyboard tray. It was easy to install. It fits my desk perfectly. I have the Ashley furniture Baraga desk that I ordered from Amazon. It has a 2 inch metal bar about 2 inches behind the lip, and the glass surface is a quarter inch thick. I had to buy a clamp-on tray because of the metal bar and I was concerned that the glass desk surface would be too thin for the clamps. These clamps are fit perfectly and they have a slight suction action to them which works well on the glass. Also, because the tray is adjustable, I can drop my keyboard below the 2 inch metal bar with no problem. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that the slide out mechanism is a little uneven and I've already had to re-tighten the screws after just 2 months.

Buon ripiano per tastiera e topo attuatore per Pc ,relativamente facile da montare ,molto robusto insomma un buon acquisto che sembra assicurare funzionalita' e durata.

While this is sturdy an looks well made it almost looks industrial, chunky, bulky. The slider mechanism could be better seem to be cheap an can be stiff. Be aware that the clamps almost add 5 cm to each side which makes it longer then you think . I also fond my desk is 76cm high ( average hight for a desk ) and once I'd clamped it to my desk I did not need the extra bits to drop it down

It is very easy to install. Took me only 10 mins. But the edge of the keyboard tray below is pretty sharp, so you may cut your thigh accidentally when you shift your leg. So have to be careful.

This product has significantly improved my posture and quality of life. The product itself is very easy to put together aided by watching the "How To" video on the product page. The paper instructions are bit hard to follow and the screws are very similar in size, so when putting it together, attention to detail would help. The tray itself is very sturdy and does not move once in place. I built my desk wrong and it rocks back and forth, when I push down on the tray, there was no creaking and it was strong enough to pull my desk down with it. It slides easily in and out, though I would recommend doing a clamp height test before putting it all together as adjusting the height can be a bit of a pain. I wish I had purchased this a LONG time ago. It's a good alternative if you don't want to drill extra holes into the underside of your desk and don't mind forgoing the option of tilt adjusting the tray.
