Oliver's French Cremes (Fruit & Spice)

These are amazing! So soft and creamy. Flavors are great. It's hard to find French Creams anywhere, so I order these every year and they are always good.

These candies are a great taste of my childhood.

Again to eat and I'm ordering more

I purchased these decades ago and recently remembered them and figured like a lot of other lovely old time treats they were no more. I was so happy to see these! They arrived well packaged, earlier than expected and they’re fresh and delicious and taste EXACTLY as I remember! Lovely little crystal candy wonders. Highly recommend Oliver’s and I’m already planning to purchase other varieties.

They are just a sugar with some pleasant creamy inside. Not for me.

I have ordered these candies numerous times and will again. I have never found anything like them in local candy, grocery, or bakery stores. I've had similar confections at weddings, but they don't seem to be elsewhere. The texture is like almost nothing else. The outsides have a very thin, delicate shell of what seems like mostly flavored finely granulated sugar. Inside, the texture is a delicious semi-creamy portion that melts in your mouth. It's hard to describe if you've never had anything like this. They are not like bonbons or mint meltaways. The closest I've ever found to the same exquisite texture is with some brands of pure maple sugar candy, usually only found around Christmas.My only complaint is that they can never be delivered with the one- or two-day Prime service I'm used to. But, patience is a virtue and it's always worth the wait. I feel they are a little pricey as well, but since they seem to be so hard to find, I just have to deal with that. These last two points are the only reason for not giving five stars.

Crunchy on the outside, smooooth and creamy on the inside, flavors are different mints (like peppermint, spearmint).

When these arrived, I took a tiny bite out of an orange flavored candy, and closed my eyes with a smile as it slowly melted. They’re similar to the texture of maple sugar. They’re beautiful as well! It’s been so many years since I had these, very happy!
