Cord to reach for rear camera to mirror is too short. The input hole for the backup camera in the rear view mirror is too large for the cable input, therefore it cuts in and out, pure static on this part of LCD weather driving or backing up. Also when backing up, the beeper that's supposed to tell your getting close, doesn't work, but that's ok because the camera cuts in and out so bad you can't see what you are doing anyway. Pure junk, I would not, nor would I recommend anyone else purchase this piece of crap. Save your money and buy elsewhere. If I could have given it no stars, I would have. I would have given it -3 stars if I could have. JUNK, JUNK, JUNK!

Installed on '08 Corolla, a small hatchback. The good: Price. Nice blue tint on mirror. Large mirror. The bad: Flicker from backup light signal. I had to isolate rear camera +12V with relay. Maybe a filter could've worked, I don't have time to experiment. Make sure to attach to solid ground of car. Rear cam cable short. English manual is hard to understand - they should've hired a proof reader. The mirror is huge, I like it but it interfered with driver side sunshade. The shade still works but cannot be rotated forward to hug the windshield. . May lose use of dimmer function on oem mirror. I have dark rear tint so I don't care. Hope it will be reliable. Update: Lowered to 2 stars due to unreliable function, sometimes not switching to reverse view and flickering comes and go.

So far it worked quite well but now the image on the screen seems to be really blurry or not focused as much and the rearview camera ended up shorting out my reverse/back up lights so I had to run a different ground.

After a few months of trying to make this thing work, I give up. I am another person who gets the message that the sd card is full.It will not overwrite or delete old files. This thing is useless.
