Many people ask about this. There is no magic solution to get perfectly clear ice every time, but there are some steps you can take to make your ice less hazy. 1. Use distilled/filtered water, rather than tap water. 2. Try boiling the water first, then letting it cool down. Some of the haziness often seen in the ice ball comes from microscopic bubbles trapped in the water. Boiling can help cause those microscopic bubbles to dissipate resulting in clearer ice once frozen.
