My daughter requires portable suction machines whenever we travel or during power interruptions. The portable units work well. The batteries last about 2 - 3 years with moderate usage. I have had problems in the past with these being on the shelf too long. The ones I bought recently were only a few months old per the date on the battery, so all good. They came charged and worked immediately on installation.

Perfect fit to replace vac pump battery.

To bad I had to go to CVS to pick it up! (Hello UPS!!!)It's a perfect fit except the foam cushion on the bottom seemed overly thick making reassembly of the unit difficult.

The battery works as it should. However, it was very frustrating because this is the first time we’ve had to change the battery in my son’s Devilbiss suction machine and the screws are impossible to reach without using a special long-handled tool that most people probably don’t have on hand. When we got the battery and discovered we had no way to open the battery compartment, we had to then order a tool that it took an hour of searching to find (at Amazon, albeit). It cost around $10. I feel this should be mentioned in the battery description and the proper tool linked to the battery.
