Worth the purchase
I got this for fursuit making and cosplay work. I put water inside it like you’re supposed to and it stays in place while you work. It’s sturdy and doesn’t leak at all.

Great product for those just getting started.
I bought this for my first foray into mask making. Once filled with plaster it has good weight to it and won’t tip. I have 5lbs of clay on it and struggle to tilt the thing myself, so needless to say it is very sturdy. The smooth base makes it easy to rotate if you are not using a sculpture wheel and the facial features are muted, so you can focus entirely on your vision for your mask. There are also no ears, which I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing. It was easy to sculpt ears for my mask and because it was a monster mask one ear was odd shaped and supernatural so I think that not having an ear to get in the way made it easier for me to add a monster ear.I am happy with it. I’m a newbie so what do I know? But between the guys above, who sound like pros, and me you have a pretty good range of experience levels that will find this armature useful. Btw if you call Monster Makers, Jason is a super knowledgeable guy who provides top notch customer service. They should give him a raise!

love it, but..
I really like this bust and it works well with Monster Clay, the only issue I had is that it leaks water from the bottom. The seal is not that good and I did nit notice it until after I had already sculpted my project. At that point I could not fix it. I am going to have to take aquarium sealant or something and fix this so paying as much as I did for something that leaks and that I am going to need to fix after one use is kind of annoying.

Great for fursuit making!
I've seen a lot of fursuit makers using this head and I'm really glad I got one of my own. It's incredibly sturdy (even without water), it's basically the same size as my own head, and it doesn't take up too much space. If you accidentally get hot glue on it you can wait for it to cool off and simply scrape it off with a credit card. I've dropped this thing a few times and it can certainly take a beating as well. I can honestly see this lasting me years!

Worked great to make Fursuit heads!
One thing I found really use full was you can fill the head with sand or water to weigh it down so it wouldn't fall which is one problem I had alot with making suits! The head itself is pretty good quality and heavy so I never had that issue since! 5 stars for sure!

Great model head
Very high quality, thick material and sturdy. Has the option to fill with water for weight but is well balanced on its own. Can’t wait to get started on some projects.
