Chunky Knit Blanket Handmade by Soft Knitting Throw Bed Bedroom Decor Bulky Sofa Ivory White 40"×59"

I bought this blanket mostly for décor for my bed since I live in a warm climate. The blanket is super soft and made very well. I received it a month or more before the delivery date. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that it shed and if I actually wanted to use it a lot I do not think it would hold up.

The media could not be loaded.  This is gorgeous. I am so in love with the chunky knit. This is not my first chunky knit blanket. But definitely my favorite.I love the fact that it came in its own tote with handle and that it was vacuum sealed. If I were to give this as a gift, I’d be happy knowing that the recipient was receiving something packaged the way this was.But the magic doesn’t happen until you open the package. Once it is fluffed up like an armful of cotton candy. Afterwards, you can see the knit pattern—it is absolutely gorgeous. The yarn huge, the needlework is huge and the braids are tight. The outer edge has a beautiful thick braid and nice rounded corners.It is made from …MERINO WOOL. It is not synthetic. Along with the size of the yarn and the needlework this is ultimately what separates it from the other similar products. It is, in my opinion, heirloom quality. The type of gift that you’d be happy to present to a new homeowner, newlyweds, your girlfriend or even mother-in-law. Yah. It’s that good.But I’m keeping this for myself. I just remodeled my bedroom and this is going to look fantastic displayed across the foot of the bed.

Beautiful throw, very warm and soft. Heavy duty, but sheds a lot. Unable to use frequently due to shedding. Yarn collects on all objects.

I just received this and I was super excited to finally have them! I wanted a couple for our couches for the longest time!This is my honest review, they both came in one box, the were folded and vacuum sealed in a thick plastic bag. Be careful when opening these, because it is super easy to catch the yarn with a knife or scissors. It is luxurious... To my standards. Lol I did not think about how delicate these are. My dad brought it to my attention that the cats might ruin them with their claws when laying on them. So I'm a little worried about that...I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. They are relatively stretchy, but be careful not to brush anything abrasive against the yarn, it will fluff and cease to be a perfect strand of yarn. If you have cats or dogs, purchased at your own risk. They are sooooo beautiful, comfy, and warm! I hope they last! I will update my review in a few months to let you know how they keep...Update :After having them for a few days I see what other reviewers are talking about the shedding. Even though I love them, I don't think they would hold up with constant use. I would say these are only for decorative purpose. Not to ever be used daily. They are gorgeous, but for the money I spend I want something durable that can be used every day. Purchase at your own risk!

Super warm and thick. The blanket is beautiful. The thing I don’t like is that it sheds a TON. Shreds of this blanket get all over whatever your wearing or wherever you put the blanket. It’s messy.....

Es hermosa queda perfecta para decorar tu cama o muebles pero no es lana fuerte hay que tratarla con mucho amor y extremo cuidado se “despelusa” muy fácil. Y no recomiendo lavar a máquina.

I let a friend persuade me to buy this in yellow. I absolutely hate it! Don’t get me wrong...it’s a good product, but yellow is not for me.

Ok the product is so good and comfy! Quality great. Soft so soft. However the shipping situation sucked. Really there supplier was from northern Saskatchewan I’m from southern Saskatchewan yet it got sent to Hong Kong then back so I had to pay customs on a product from Canada!! Sucks!

It is truly a beautiful blanket! Merino wool makes it both warm and cozy! Would buy again. That said buyer beware of three things: there is an extra charge (around $20 CAD) for shipping internationally, the wool does ‘ ball’ easily and it’s surprisingly heavy so to order again I would have bought a smaller size. That said the family loves being cuddled together for movie night but it’s heavy when alone.

I was nervous ordering online at first— even when the item arrived in a vacuum sealed pack— I thought it was certainly going to be smaller than expected.But once opened its large, softer than I had expected. I bought it as a gift but want to keep it for myself!! :)

Beautiful blanket! Frays easily as is to be expected with wool like this, I’d recommend a gentle environment. It’s massive and cozy and made the perfect birthday gift for my sister. Thank you!
