Accuon Replacement Probes Wire for Grill Thermometer

After looking at reviews for all of the Maverick replacement probes, we came across this set of two probes. They arrived quickly and were packed in a plastic zip bag.I purchased the probes after having gone through four (different brand) meat probes in the past. We use these with our ET-733 Maverick thermometer. I have used the set here now four different times and I'm very happy with them. To use them, I drop the cords down the top of my vent in the Big Green Egg, clip the grill probe to the grill and place the meat probe in the thickest part of the meat.One problem I have with the probes is the cables have gotten very stiff and they are hard now to coil back for storage.I measured the cable to be 42 1/2 inches the meat probe is 8 1/4 inches and the grill probe with is 3 1/2 inches long. Plenty long to set the thermometer on the table beside the grill.

I ordered this set of probes to replace my 5 year old original probes. Comparing the new to my original probes showed no quality difference to me. I hand washed original probes by hand, not getting any water where the probe and braided cord meet. I plan to do the same with this new set.My Maverick ET732 and these probes worked perfectly. I have done 3 cooks on my Weber grill and Akorn smoker and am very happy. I recommend this replacement for it's price and quality.

Hoping it last longer than the set that came with my unit

The Barbeque probe for my Maverick ET732 was acting like it was no longer giving a true reading. I didn't want to spend $15 or more for one probe, so I had a thorough search in the thermometer department. When I found this PAIR of replacement probes for only ten bucks, I decided to give them a try.Last night I put a whole Boston Butt in my Smokin It #2 smoker and used the new prtobes. Fourteen hours later I can report that they worked flawlessly. So far, no complaints about these bargain-priced probes. I'm thinking of getting another set as back up!

Appear good although this the second set I have had to order in 6 months.

Works great with the ivation remote grill thermometer.Just be careful when you extract the probe that you grab the probe and not the wire (thats how i ruined my last one and led me to these).However, if you do, these work as a great replacement.Comes with a grill probe that has the grill clamp and the meat probe which is pointy and curved.

My DigiQ meat probe finally wore out so I ordered this set of probes for about the same price as a single "official" probe.Construction appears to be identical in size of probe, gauge of braided probe wire and how probes are attached.Both probes were dead-on accurate during the boiling/freezing water tests.A great replacement at a reasonable price.
