Fashion not hiking
The are exactly what I wanted. Smart casual boots that look good and are waterproof. Comfy too. Awesome. But to call them 'hiking hoots'? Well the tread pattern suggests they are 'hiking' but these are far too smart to wear on a hike.Great value for money.

Soooo Comfy
These boots were used for a 9 mile hike along the coast. They were able to withstand harsh terrain where I was ( I walked on nothing but large rocks and pebbles and beach sand) They fit exactly to my measurements and me being overweight they were great on my feet and very surprisingly comfortable. I walked out with no blisters and my feet were unscathed by the harsh terrain. The durability on these shoes were shockingly good and the grip on the soles made the trekking very bearable. The boots are very stylish and my group thought they were dress boots. These boots are not that waterproof so I wouldn't use them if you're hiking through marsh or anywhere where the hike might be mostly water terrain. These boots are definitely a good buy for beginner and somewhat intermediate trails or first time hikers.

Pretty comfortable, look nice for the price.
I’m in construction sales so I needed something a little more polished blue collar than my beat up steel toes. This give me a professional look while still hinting that I might know how to hold a drill. They were pretty stiff when I first put them on but they broke in quickly. They’re fairly light weight and while I wouldn’t walk 5 miles in em they’re pretty comfortable for what they’re worth. They’re not work boots by any means so don’t think you can wear this framing walls, but they’re good “fashion boots” I guess. My feet aren’t killing me after a 12hr day so that’s a good sign, but I did just buy em yesterday. Time will tell I suppose. Overall good value for the money and will buy again if they hold up.

$18 for these? WOW. Not going to last forever, but they are comfy and stylish.
I'm not sure if I lucked out on a flash sale or what, but I got these for $18!I'd be happy with them for $40-50 even! They look great and are quite comfortable. Decently grippy outsole, and doesn't take a break-in period. The side ankle zipper is nice for taking them on and off quickly. The only part of them that gives away their cheapness is the sole if you look at it from the bottom. I've gotten many compliments on these boots when I go out and people are shocked to hear the price I paid for them.Definitely buy it if it's on sale, and even if it's not, I'd say they are easily worth $40-50.

Vostey Men’s Hiking Boots - A Hike Through Mixed Impressions
When I first laid eyes on the Vostey Men’s Hiking Boots, I was immediately captivated by their rugged aesthetic. The robust design, emphasized by the waterproof feature and the unique pattern on the sole, looked like it promised an adventure. But as we all know, appearances can be deceptive. To give you a more comprehensive view, my relationship with these boots is complicated. For someone who’s an avid hiker, my expectations for performance, comfort, and durability are set fairly high. While the boots performed reasonably well in some aspects, they did leave room for improvement in others, making them a mixed bag.🥾 Aesthetic Appeal: Looks to Impress but Not to LastThe Vostey hiking boots are undoubtedly stylish. The first time you put them on, you’ll feel ready to conquer not just mountains but even casual social outings. However, the aesthetic quality comes with a caveat: durability. After a few hikes, the material started to show signs of wear, and the color began to fade slightly. For boots designed for the rough terrains, this is somewhat disappointing.🌧️ Waterproofing: More Like Water-ResistantOne of the main features that drew me to these boots was the promise of waterproofing. While they did keep my feet dry in light rain, they were not able to hold up under more severe wet conditions. They are more water-resistant than waterproof, so don’t expect them to be your savior in a downpour or during a stream crossing.👟 Comfort and Fit: A Tale of Two StoriesThe initial fitting was snug and comfortable; however, that comfort started to wane on longer hikes. They’re fine for short walks or even a half-day of moderate hiking, but anything beyond that and you’ll start to notice some discomfort in the arch and heel areas.🛠️ Construction and Material: Robust Yet Not InvincibleThese boots appear to be built like a tank. The soles are made of durable material designed to grip rocky terrains, and the overall construction feels sturdy. But as mentioned before, the upper part of the boots didn’t withstand the test of time and adventures as well as I had hoped.💰 Pricing: Middle of the RoadConsidering the mixed performance, the price point is justifiable but not a steal. There are definitely better options available if you’re willing to invest a bit more for top-tier hiking boots. However, if you’re on a budget and looking for something to get you through less demanding terrains, these boots can be a consideration.🤔 Final Thoughts and SummaryIn conclusion, the Vostey Men’s Hiking Boots are a mixed bag. They do offer a level of style, basic waterproofing, and initial comfort. However, they lack in areas of long-term durability and sustained comfort on more challenging terrains. These boots are not your go-to for intensive hiking expeditions but could serve you well for short hikes and casual wear. My experience was neither overwhelmingly positive nor entirely negative, landing these boots a solid 3-star rating. If you’re a casual hiker looking for a reasonably priced pair of boots that can also serve as stylish daily wear, these might be worth a try. But if you’re planning on rigorous hiking adventures, you might want to look elsewhere. Thank you for reading, and I hope this review aids you in your decision-making process.

Good Quality!
I recently purchased the Vostey Men's Hiking Boots, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. These boots are incredibly comfortable right out of the box, providing excellent support for long hikes. The water-resistant feature is a game-changer, keeping my feet dry even in wet conditions. The chukka style is versatile enough for casual outings, making them perfect for both the trails and everyday wear. I also appreciate the sturdy construction and durable materials, which give me confidence in their longevity. Overall, I highly recommend the Vostey boots for anyone looking for a reliable, stylish, and functional pair of hiking shoes.

Great boot for the price
This is a great boot for the price of $40.00. They are light, waterproof, and extremely comfortable. The only downside is that the sole seems to be a little on the thin side and seems to be wearing out in the heal too fast. I have walked about 180 miles in them so far. Walking about 1,500 miles a year we will see how long they last.

Poor quality. You get what you pay for
Wouldn’t waste my money on these again. The ‘leather’ is cracking, the heel cup has cracked and the sole is already wearing out. Spend your money elsewhere
