Cats love it, seems a bit unstable.
This was easy to set up and looks very nice. My cats love it but I have a few issues with it. First it seems rather unstable, I've made sure everything is tightened down fully, but it still seems to shake quite a bit when my cats jump up on it. They're not large cats either, one is ten or eleven pounds and the other is about eight and a half, they don't seem to mind the rocking of it and so far it hasn't fallen down. The second issue I have with it is the "carpeting" on it comes off very easily, one of my cats has already scratched down to the wood on one of the little pillars. Now I don't expect cat trees to look nice forever, they are for cats to scratch on after all, but I've only had this for about two and a half months, I'd expect it to last longer. Also the little hide-y house on the second level is very small, both of my cats can "fit", but only my smaller one seems to like sleeping in it, and even then she seems a bit squished in it. Neither of them seem to care for the rolling scratching thing at the bottom either.Overall though I'm giving it four stars because my cats love it and it hasn't fallen over or apart yet. I'd give it 3.5 if I could though, it's not a bad tree for the price, but it seems a bit cheaply made and unstable.

Sturdy and just the right size!
We ordered this for our new kitten, but unfortunately our older adult cat claimed it as hers and hers only. She is de-clawed but still loves scratching on the different surfaces, and she also loves sleeping on the top perch. The colors are neutral and could go with pretty much any decor, so it's not too much of an eye sore. This was pretty easy to put together, but the instructions consist of one picture. Make sure you compare the size of the pieces before putting it together. The brown carpet on it also sheds a lot.We are very satisfied, even though the intended recipient isn't too impressed.

Would be great if it wasn't so hard to assemble
I will say my cat loves this. It arrives unassembled. I got most of it together. I did read in other reviews about the dowels not working properly. Very true. There were parts that just would not go together. My hubby got it together with use of a nail gun.I went to a pet store and found a comprable cat tree. It was fully assembled and was the same price.

Should have been simple....
Well, this should have been easy to set up however.... one of the long double ended scews was messed up... I guess the threads on it were not machined right. In any case this became a real issue! I ended up having to make a "make shift" dowel out of a pencil just so I could put it together. The top portion is not extremely sturdy... I do not know if having the right screw would have made a differance with that or not... I don't think so because that was in the middle.

Great!
The cats love it and it's their favorite napping spot. My only complaints are it's a little flimsy and you cannot replace the mouse after it's been chewed off.

Kitten Paradise!
The AlphaPurr Uppurr Crust Cat Tower and Playground, is just that the ultimate playground for our new cat! Tiny will sit on the top perch for hours staring out the window, it is the cutest thing. Besides the perch he absolutely adores the scratching post, which is a relief because it saves my furniture. This cat tower is well worth the money if just for the time the cat leaves me alone while spending time on his tower. The fabric is soft and durable, it hasn't ripped yet. And the tower fits nicely into the corner of our playroom so you hardly notice the thing unless the cat is situated in the high position. If you want to treat both yourself and your cat consider the Uppercrust Cat Tower and Playground.
