Delicious, the mackerel does not taste or smell fishy at all. Great way to get lots of extra protein in your day. Keeps you feeling full for a long time. Quality seems pretty good.

Let me start by saying that I generally hate the taste of fish. Eating this only for the supposed benefits of the omega 3s. Apparently, mackerel is the highest or close to the highest source. I’ve tried about 8 brands of mackerel. Between this and the King Oscar Mediterranean, you can’t go wrong. This is the most plain, clean tasting, and least offensive mackerel. It barely smells. I normally have to add Dijon mustard to mackerel to choke it down, but don’t even need to with this. It tastes basically like canned tuna. Add some cayenne and cumin and you’re all set. The price is also great.

This is a great product. I’ve tried competitive offerings and none compare. Make sure you get this one because they have another version which is not skinless and it’s not that good.

Very, very mild taste despite being packed in olive oil. Feels like I am eating a good, clean source of protein. Beautifully prepared and packaged. Fillets are nice size and very clean. Would recommend adding it to a sauce or perhaps add spices for some flavor rather than just consuming straight from tin.

We wanted something lower on the food chain and this brand of mackerel is a perfect substitute in all my recipes. Tastes the same, imo.
