Espresso Machine-Coffee Pot Cleaner (25 Ounce)

So I purchased this to clean out the metal mesh filter basket for my Breville Juicer. I've had to juicer for several months and even with trying to clean it soon after each use, I could tell it was getting clogged and the juice was getting rather pulpy of late. I started checking Amazon for potential replacement filters, but found them to be crazy expensive, especially compared to the cost of the juicer itself. Luckily, I ran across a recommendation for the Joe Glo cleaner and after reading other reviews for Joe Glo, found that many people had great luck using it to clean the juicer mesh basket.I ordered the larger size as it was more of a value pricing and as soon as I received it, I went ahead and started to clean my metal mesh basket.I filled a pot with water, but was certain to make sure the water was enough to cover the metal portion of my mesh basket and did not go up or cover the plastic base just to be safe since it would be boiling for several minutes. I then brought the water to a boil (it was about 1.5 quarts), added in a heaping tablespoon of the cleaner, and then added my mesh basket to the pot. I let it sit in the boiling water for about 10-12 minutes and during this time I could see the water changing color from the debris coming off the mesh basket. I took it out of the boiling water and used the original scrub brush from my juicer to clean the mesh. With normal scrubbing, the filter was mostly clean in almost no time at all. I'd say at this point it was probably back to 85-90% like new.I went ahead and decided to do a second cleaning following the same process. I did add a little bit more water the second time because the area that wasn't fully cleaned was the mesh closest to the plastic, which wasn't in the water as much due to me trying to keep the plastic out of the boiling water. Also note that in the boiling water, the mesh basket tends to tip so you should move it around a little so that all of the metal gets some time in the boiling water. After another round of about 12 minutes, I scrubbed the mesh again and it pulled off most of what was left. At this point, my mesh basket is shining like new and probably 95% unclogged and works great again.I would highly recommend this cleaner for juicers like several others based on my experience.Had I thought of it, I would have done some pictures to show just how well this stuff works.

Bought it primarily to clean an old Olympia expresso machine.. it did a great job in cleaning all the stainless parts , making them look like new …, also used it on French press and cleaned it perfectly ..

Works great! Used on several metal pieces of my moka as well as my glass pour over carafe, which gets discolored after a while, despite regular cleaning - this cleaned it right up.

Cleans out my espresso machine well and leaves very little residue. I throw out the first shot after cleaning but probably dont have to as I cant taste any of the jo gloves in it.

This works great to remove coffee stains from our stainless steel carafe.

Purchased this product to soak a Breville juice strainer which once again became completely clogged and useless. They are very costly to keep replacing. I soaked the part 2X and gave it a good scrubbing with a toothbrush and then the stiff breville brush. 85% improvement and my son can make juice once again.
