High Temp Wire - 24 Gauge - 10ft Long - by Kemper Tools

Tested and reliable.I would avoid manipulating the wire with a gazillion attempts to form and shape, aim for a smooth, quick shaping technique so the wire is stronger.(A good guideline for any wire work)

Very pleased with this high temperature wire. 24 gauge was not too thin although my ornaments are not too heavy. Just be sure to encase the wire in glass & melt it sufficiently to surround the wire.

Used for making hangers for ornaments to fire in kiln- was able to fire over and over again and still maintain strength.

10 feet sure doesn't go a long way for the price. I was a bit disappointed in the price to quantity ratio but couldn't find anything else so I had to get it. I haven't put my figurines in the kiln yet so I don't know if they fully work in that capacity. I will keep searching for something but for now this is what I found. It was difficult to form for what I needed. 3 stars is because of the cost vs quantity ratio. Huge profit margin.

I used it to hook a couple of logs in my gas fireplace so they sit right. So far it's holding up great even after a couple of hours in a direct flame

I use this with cone 10 porcelain and it works wonderfully. I definitely recommend this wire to any high Fire clay artists out there:)
