It simply works. I needed a high limb cut so I shot some fishing line over the limb, attached 550 cord to the line and the saw. Another 550 cord to the other end and hoisted it up. The most troublesome time was when the saw reached the limb and the first couple tries it wanted to flip teeth up. I simply pulled it off the limb, gave the line a shake, and tried again. Not terrible at all and only took three shakes. I did find that my best results were achieved when I didn't put much pressure on the chain. Don't force it. Just pull back and forth and let the teeth do the work at their speed. Like I said in the beginning, it simply works. I am happy.

This is a handy little tool. Weigh down one side, toss it up and start sawing. Fairly lightweight, and effective although twice now it's gotten stuck. I'm not sure if that's a case of biting off more than one should chew but both times we had to find a new way to snap the branch. Still a useful product and look forward to having it in my tree-trimming arsenal.

This is an effective tool but somewhat tricky to get familiar with. I attached cable to the loop handle so I could cut pretty high limbs but the blade does tend to bind and getting it loose again can be challenging. I am glad I got it and it does perform well if used properly.

I bought this for my father in law, though he didn't want it. It came in a little carrying pouch, which I didn't know, so it was an added bonus. The chain itself is lightly greased and seems to be effective. The hand loops are very simple and may cause some irritation against sensitive skin, though it seemed fine for us. While I won't need this every day, it's a good product to have around just in case.

In the words of my dad, this pocket chainsaw worked "slick as a whistle". I cut through a 3 inch oak branch in less than a minute... and I did it myself (a 57 year old woman with bursitis in my shoulder). The branch was about 2 feet above my head but I tossed one handle over the branch and was ready to cut. No more climbing a ladder with a power saw to get those dead branches down. I feel so much safer using this saw. It comes in a convenient pouch that securely latches shut and has a loop on the back to slide your belt through for easy carrying. This Pocket Chainsaw is really compact. Takes very little space in a backpack It is also light weight and simple as hell to use.The chainsaw blades cut through wood almost like butter. You do have to put some strength into it, its not magical but it works like a charm.To use it you just have to wrap the blade around the offending branch, take a handle in each hand, and move it back and forth.This saw cuts much better than a regular handsaw and doesn't get stuck nearly as often. This is the reason im looking forward to my camping trip in spring time. This chain saw performs great for its size.It works much better than I expected. This product arrived on time in the condition described. I am in love with this pocket chainsaw! I had never heard of this product, but once I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I took this out to the woods to try it out and it works great! I personally used it with a partner but you could also use it by yourself.
