Voyager Tarot: Intuition Cards for the 21st Century

I dig this deck. I really felt a resonance with many of the illustrations/collages on the cards. The images do a really good job of capturing several elements that form an overall feeling about the theme of the card. The lil book accompanying the cards is also insightful and helpful.Overall great deck... and when I got it, it was very reasonably priced.

Amazing artwork collage-style. Book is beyond its time

These have to be the best tarot cards I have ever seen in my life. The first time I saw them was online and the name drew me to them, when I saw the first few cards I knew I had to make the purchase. These cards are absolutely beautiful, and they really can speak to any reader since these are collages. I do not own a tarot deck like this at all. The majority of my deck is Thoth based, and I have a few Rider Waite inspired decks. This is my first collage deck, and it will not be my last. I do like how it is different than the rest, plus the colors and collages on each card are brilliant!!I have average sized hands for a woman, and I find these cards a bit hard to shuffle since they are wider than an average tarot deck. Plus, these cards are so well laminated, it makes them VERY difficult to shuffle. Although when I first got my Thoth deck I found those to be hard to shuffle as well. I have to shuffle those from the side, the long way for them to work for me. I have tried that with these, and there is no luck since they are so laminated and stiff. But like with any deck, they must be broken in then the flexibility will come. The LWB that accompanies this deck is wonderful, not to long not too short and has a great explanation for each card, and of course select spreads in the back.I HIGHLY recommend this deck from novice to advanced users.

I do miss the size of the original deck, but the cards are stunning

This is NOT your typical Tarot deck. Do not expect to pick this deck up and read it like a Rider Waite or other deck. The book with it is shallow at best. Take time to learn the deck in depth, to become acquainted with it. The problem I had with it is that it is virtually impossible to read if you wish to be able to read the writing on the cards. I took a black fine point sharpie and went over all the writing with it. The writing is in white on a pale beige background. I found the writing helpful but unreadable. Your choice. Some don't use the writing. If so, the white on beige is easy to ignore. If you find it helpful, however, I suggest the black, fine point sharpie route. This is not a beginner deck, and it is a unique deck. I have found it very different than any deck I've ever used.

The cards are securely placed in their beautiful box with the LWB on top. The picture of the box does not give it justice. I opened this deck, counted the cards, and I began my readings. I am blown away by the immediate connection I made with these cards! I received a LWB, 119 pages. There is a Table of Contents, a Foreword, and an Introduction. All of the cards are beautifully defined. There is an in depth section called, "Piloting the Voyager." This section will assist you in working with the cards. I just cut to the chase and started reading! LOL!The card stock is very strong and thick. There is a nice gloss over the cards. The dimensions are roughly 4 7/8" by 3 3/8". The corners are nicely rounded. I have small hands and I can shuffle these cards easily. The collages are large enough for me to see the detail with ease. I've been nearsighted all of my life, so seeing the detail easily is important.I am VERY happy with my purchase.

The deck comes in a semi-rigid black box. The card stock is thick and laminated, which will make the deck lasts longer. The cards are larger than other tarot decks, so if you have small hands, you might find 'em hard to shuffle. The little book that comes with it, definitely is a jewel!! The information provided gives new insights and points of view valuable for this new Era and the new generations of tarotists. Truly, the book is A-MA-ZING!!I've used this deck a couple of times for meditation purposes and I feel this special connection and fluid communication through the images. I'd say it's more in the "Thot" tradition, although the deck itself has a language of its own. As its been called, this is the tarot for the 21st Century...

Meine Mutter besitzt eine ältere Auflage dieser Tarot-Karten in Deutsch. Daher kenne ich das Deck bereits seit meiner Kindheit. Die Bilder sind wunderschön und inspirierend! Als ich nun beschloss, dass ich mich selbst mal mit Tarot beschäftigen möchte, war es für mich ausgeschlossen, ein anderes Deck zu kaufen.Leider ist diese neue, englischsprachige Auflage offensichtlich weniger hochwertig produziert. Die Druckqualität ist gut, aber die Box wirkt etwas labil (leider kam sie auch mit einzelnen Knicken an) und die Karten sind teilweise unsauber zugeschnitten.Man kann aber trotzdem damit arbeiten. Für knapp 20 Euro bin ich zufrieden, würde aber auf keinen Fall mehr dafür ausgeben.

These are not your regular tarot cards (although experienced tarot readers can use them, as they are labeled as regular ones). But this is exactly WHY I like them. They are to be viewed and interpreted with intuition.Once you get a good contact with the card you can get VERY accurate readings. How I use them (to give you some idea): Someone, or me, asks a question, really focusing on it, then I, as the reader, tap into the askers vibes/spirits, what ever you wanna call it, and ask for a clear answer to the askers question and shuffle, as I feel needed and draw a card. Then I present the card to the asker and in that card, there is an answer to their question, which makes sense only to them. Usually the first impression they get is the answer, they must not over analyze the pictures.Anyway, these cards are very different to traditional tarot cards, but for someone who does not yet know the meaning of all of the tarot cards and don't know how to interpret tarot spreads, this deck is an excellent way to practice intuition and tapping into the vibes/energy around us.The pictures on the cards are very colorful, and beautiful collage and can be interpreted easily to form an answer to the askers question. I am very very pleased!

I have the app. I like the app. A friend of mine has the original deck from the 80s and I love it, so I was really looking forward to getting my hands on this one. So I ordered it and what a disappointment. The print quality is pixely and blurry, it's impossible to focus on the images. I really wanted to use them to meditate on, but with the pixels an blur there's just too much going on. These are very busy cards to begin with, so the print just gave me a proper headache. And the card stock!!! What a nightmare. It's HUGE! And by that I mean the the cards are crazy thick! They're impossible to shuffle. And then there's the corners. They're uneven! I was thinking about (if the print quality hadn't been so rubbish) trimming the deck, leaving the titles and keywords intact, but because some of the corners are cut super wide and the others super narrow, that wouldn't really be possible. Plus because of the crazy corners the deck looks my my dog clipped it with his teeth when stacked.Again, I'm super disappointed, I really wanted this deck and I generally don't care too much wether it's old or new, but for this one I'm gonna find myself a nice old deck.I sent this one back.I'm giving it two stars simply because the price isn't too bad and if you really really wanted to work with this one and absolutely can't afford a retro from ebay, or do not want to wait for quality, it'll do.

Manche erfahrene Tarot-Nutzer halten nichts von Erklärungen, aber es ist wunderbar für Anfänger wie mich. Darüber hinaus ist es sehr kunstvoll gestaltet. Wer den Gestaltungsprozess kennt, versteht den Wert dieser Darstellungen. Für mehr Informationen empfehle ich eine Podcast-Episode mit James Wanless, dem Autor dieser Karten, und Paul Chek.
